I think panic selling is setting in...some need to pay off that CC I guess.
I'll hang on to mine until the start of next season and see what the prices are on them then. I have opened 5 boxes of them and see how cool these are in person, so I would not mind opening the rest of my 15 if they never get to a price I would be happy to sell at. I actually like these more than this years sapphire cards since there is no blue in them this year. The Sapphire just seem like Bowman Atomics that I am not a huge fan of. The 3D look cool and feel good in the hand....I was surprised how thick these were. I guess the average collector has no idea what these are like. I certainly didn't and I am glad I opened 5 of them up. |

as for the 3Ds, they will never be appreciated on-line, in any way. Pics, and videos do them no justice

I’m happy to hold my 2 sets (well, 1.9 sets lol). Prices always dip in the offseason - they’ll likely go even lower. They look cool enough in person to justify keeping them instead of selling at ridiculously low prices.

I for one hope the sealed boxes keep going down in price...
...and I hope they pull the 2018 3D sealed boxes right down with them.

Well, they're old news now....everyone is focused on the Topps minis.
There's a point at which Topps overuses the flagship design with too many ancillary products and people start saying "meh". You've got flagship itself, update, Topps Chrome, 3D, minis, Chrome update, Opening Day, and probably something else I've missed.... |

2018 3D also took a dip in the winter.
Like most products, they'll rise in the spring and take off if/when one of the 2019 rookies catches fire. 2018 also got an extra boost because of the Bat Down. |

Nov to Jan is the worst time of year to be selling baseball.
Only the most desperate are selling now. |

Just sold a couple of lots on ebay
48 singles with 4 dups for 80 (with all the big names taken out) and 12 Motions insert with a lot of dups (biggest name is 1 Riley) for 23 these were from 10 packs, I got half my money back, and I still kept all the bigger rookies + base (Trout, Ohtani, Torres and Acuna) |

Star Wars collectors say "Hi!"

I would rather have a Tatis 3D versus TC Sapphire as far stock/appearance goes

I'm pretty happy there's not much talk on here about 3D recently. I'd like to see sealed box prices come down even more.
The day is coming when people appreciate these for how nice they really are. I hope that day is several years away yet, or more.

I've been biting my tongue a lot in this thread as I don't want to say too much and pump them up. I'd honestly like to see them go down in price. I KNOW how nice they are. I'm hoping it takes a while before the masses realize it. |

Isn't there less produced of these compared to Sapphire as well? I like the look of both but 3D are really nice looking.
