They should cancel the release today and try again tomorrow. It's a crapshoot when it will be available if at all today.

I'm saying this because the entire app and website is wiped, no rewards or points. I guarantee no one has a box yet. They reset the server. The circular string is jacked, thus leaving the message.

I would rather stick nails under my toe nails and kick the hell out of the wall than sit here and try to deal with this First Offline Server crap panini hands to us.

What's crazy to me is the lack of fore-site. I make a career designing Data Centers and selling associated hardware. I am far from an expert when it comes to server capacity and the like but I at least have a fundamental knowledge of the subject.

I would think competent IT managers, CIO's or whomever would anticipate this extra traffic and purchase additional capacity in the cloud ahead of time. No doubt it's a bit more complicated than that but absolutely doable.

as someone that works at a company with huge demand-based sales, i can tell you that shopify is really the only way to go for sites like this. their cloud server chains are pretty indestructible. full custom sites are always terrible at this.

If you plug your phone into a charger, the extra battery power produced should help. Worked for me.

Even after the last NT fotl was released, once product was gone, all aspects of the site and app were back up. That's not the case and the JSON error is appearing which it should not have. The string written Into the code is jacked which is why they've reset the server twice now trying to fix it. No one has a bix.

I wish they would just do a lottery for FOTL. You put in a request to buy them within a 2 day window and then they draw names out of a hat.
Simple and fair IMO.

It's a cost thing though too.

Also not sure if they are hosted in the cloud or have their own on-prem datacenter.

Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread, but companies like Nike, Foot Locker, etc had major issues with this for sneaker launches as recently as a few years ago.

Honestly.... I woke up this morning a bit happy thinking I could get 2 boxes.. Crack one and resell the other to fund a PC card but guess this garbage website won't help
