Yet everyone is already desperately looking for blaster rips.

This is why the hobby is going the way it is, so much ripping on how bad a product is with garbage refractors and huge auto checklists of middle relievers and less hits per box at jacked up prices...and people are chasing blasters.

Typically the variations in Chrome have a refractor finish. That one appears to be base. Still could be, but they would mean they ditched the refractor finish for the SPs and SSPs, which would be a bummer.

I know it would leave money on the table for Topps, but I would love to see pre-orders for like blasters and such being discounted and then release day being at regular price vs being at regular price and if the product tanks and they still have it over a year to discount it.

I would like to see pre-orders of this at $24-29 then have it be $34 after to get excitement/incentivize collectors to buy early vs. keeping it at $34 and having it dip after. They could realistically even bump up the price after a year or more if there are chase rookies in the set.

You didn't get a shipment notice or any tracking data in your Topps account? I also preordered a hobby box of Chrome, but still says "processing" in my account...
