I have one more coming that I paid $149 for. I’m hoping to put together full sets, and just have fun with whatever I am able to pull

That lot of 40 packs on eBay sold for $350. And a Ralphie & Randy dual just sold for $500. That's a new high sale price for that card I believe.

Yep…man my hope of getting a ralphie and Randy dual has become way to expensive for me. Yikes, 40 packs for $350 for those who can still get a sealed box for a good price good luck.

Impressive on the Ralphie/Randy dual, I was going to check final price it sold for but didn’t get around to it yet.
Autos are getting bought up quickly for collections.

Oh, OK. I checked terapeak a few minutes after it sold and it said $499.99, but now it does say $400. It must take a little longer for the true sale price to show on there after the listing ends. To me $400 seems low for that card considering what boxes are selling for.

Well just look at what he has for sale

It’s a dirty hobby. It’s amazing how many people get scammed constantly

Gross. $350 for 0 hits (you know there are none in there). Could've gotten 2 boxes with guaranteed hits and had money left over.

Although, I have seen single packs sell for $10. Maybe that's the goal by the buyer here?

It's good to see that this product is not a race to the bottom for selling cards on ebay, at least not for the coveted cards in this set. Some of them are going up in price with every new card listed!

Well I did just as I hoped. I was able to complete 1 base set and had enough of everything else to complete the ornament set (and the 1 extra turned out to be the 08/40), the quotable set and the puzzle set. My pure guess was spot on…I got “Elf”ed LoL! As with the 1st box I had a lot of fun. That I could complete the sets (minus the binder) was perfect. What I really like about the “A Christmas Story” boxes are you get BOTH a sketch card AND an autograph card. The only downside for me is it’s just too costly to keep trying for more different autographs. In conclusion, did I get everything I wanted for Christmas? To quote Ralphie…almost. Who knows, perhaps there something hiding by my desk.At the end of the day it has been a memorable Christmas. Here are the Major Awards from my 2nd box. The sketch card of the old man with the lamp was a gift from my Mom on Christmas Day…she passed away December 29th.Click image for larger version

I knew your username looked familiar! I’m glad the sketch made it safely and to a good home. It was definitely the nicest one that I pulled. So sorry to hear about your Mom.

Sorry to hear about your loss, Ribeyespud. That sketch, and maybe the card set in general, will make for a nice memory of her for you. Hopefully you can build on what you have down the line.

ID:	560202Thank you, my Mom was always there at just the right time. I love the old man with the lamp sketch and even found a picture from the movie that matched it. It’s fun to match the picture from the movie to a sketch if you can. Here is the scene from the movie matched with my last sketch card.

Sorry to hear about losing your Mom, hopefully you can build your sketch collection off of her Christmas gift to you and more of the set going forward.

Glad you had fun opening your boxes and getting mostly what you were wanting out of them. It is a very fun set to open and collect.

Is that the first Flick /85 we’ve seen? Great photo choice with his tongue stuck to the pole as well.
