Pump the brakes. This is the Dodgers, not the Angels.

Roki Sasaki will be fine

Fun options would be Framber and Freddy Peralta, but pretty much anyone that's an UFA on a bad team will be an option for them.

I still believe this kid is the real deal. If other collectors think he is a bust, I will gladly buy his cards at a discounted price.

But do you believe in the kid enough to pay full market rate prices?

Everything is relative but his prices have dropped enough where it makes sense to pickup ultra rare (the type that only surfaces on release). It's a risky gamble but the upside is there if the Dodgers can fix him.

Konami's best cards were of dragon ball Z in the 90's. That's all I have to say.

Well, you could argue that anybody spending money on either of them is likely to be disappointed.

Ask yourself how much Yu Darvish cards are worth these days?

Japanese pitchers coming to the US have a record of becoming solid above-average pitchers.

But nobody has become a superstar or come close to reaching the HOF.

Yu has had a really nice career, but yeah, he’d have to age like Niekro or Ryan to make a run at the Hall.

Most Japanese pitchers get here too late. Roki got here very young. If he can get past this injury and stay healthy, he’s young enough to make a run. But you’re right, the odds are against him.
