The print run of these cards has been a debate for a while. I personally met Gorgeous George at a show and had her sign the back of her WCW Topps auto card and she told me when she got her cards in the mail to sign that Randy Savage was with her, (they were dating at the time and lived together) Randy said when he got his cards there were more than what she received. She could not give me any number on how many she signed, she said maybe 200, but that was almost 20 years ago so who knows how accurate that number is. Anyways be very careful because building this set is an addiction, I am talking crack like addiction, and it is not the cheapest set to build.

Interesting, I'll have to save up for a while. I'd probably shoot for my favorite 5 or something like that.

Where can I get a Bam Bam and Crush at? LOL

There are way more than 200 signed by each wrestler. Supposedly the print run was put in an old sports card monthly magazine. Alex Wright was said to have signed about 400 and his was considered SP more so than any of the others.

Ya, I took what George said with a very large grain of salt lol. I am sure each wrestler signed several hundred.

I remember the same thing. I also remember none of the "bigger names" were SP....only one i can remember that was a SP in the first series was Kevin Nash...which makes sense...considering that autograph rarley shows up for auction.

Does anyone know the going rate on a WCW/NWO Lex Luger auto? And or where I might possibly be able to get one? Thanks!

I bought my Lex Luger Non PSA graded on eBay a few months ago for $95.00

Graded might fetch $125 +

Is $78 a good deal for a raw Luger?

I've seen them sale at a lower price on EBAY. The one out there right now has an asking price of $93 and has 10 watchers. Still hasn't sold. If it's a card that you really want and you think $78 is a fair price, then you should get it.

$78 is not terrible, it depends on the condition of the card and signature. Remember a lot of people don't treat wrestling cards with the same love they do other sports cards. So one persons "mint" might mean the card has damage its just not bent in half lol. When I was building this set I stressed condition and that made it really easy for me to sell my set when I needed to break it up. Either way good luck.

The Luger has almost always been in that price range. Highest I have ever seen it is $125 and that was in 2011 during the prime of this set when commons were $75
