Well I dropped by one of the Goodwills here in Bloomington, IN. There are two, one is literally 5 minutes away. There is a nicer one on the other side of town. Went in looking for some sweet jerseys or other sports stuff, but nothing caught my eye. I quickly found myself looking for things Id actually wear for myself. Found a nice Ralph Lauren button down, and this. Its an Indiana Hoosiers Adidas ClimaFit polo. Still has tags on it. Got it for $4 and some change. I know I could sell this for $25-30, but the damn thing fits my so well I may have to just keep it - Im an IU guy in IU country anyway. Still a nice find for the price. Tags say $38 brand new.

Love this thread. The wife and I did a marathon today 9 hours and 2 states picked up some cool stuff. Clippers Nike Warm Up Jacket, 2 Jeff Gordon Jackets, 2 Older Ideal Football game, a bunch of Nascar stuff, and a bunch of other things non sports related. Filled my cargo van 1/2 way for 2 bills. I will post pics after my nap.

Found these on my trip yesterday. Got the Ireland jersey for $7.99, new with tags. The Polamalu Jersey is a Youth XL and is in IMMACULATE shape. So is the LT, but the Polamalu just pops more with the Black and Gold. The Polamalu was $3.99, LT was $4.99.

Tom

What I've done with the stuff I don't know is either have my phone with me and google/ebay it while I'm in the store, or take a quick picture and look it up when I get back to the office. If it's worth it, I go back the next day to get it (if it's still there).

I love those warm up jackets, I found a Suns 4XL that I could wear a little while back. Put a big price on eBay for it so I can wear it a while.

What do you guys find to be the best place to find items?

There's a Savers that I go to down the street from my work. The Salvation Armys in my area have nothing. The Good Will was okay, but nothing special.

Do you find that those are the best places to look, or is it the Mom and Pop places that sell those things for $0.25. I find the Jerseys at Savers for $8 or so, nothing as cheap as above.

Mom and Pops are great. I myself like to ware CK so I would always go to Sally (Salvation Army) or GoodWill and do okay. I would see a ton of sports items but always passed them up because I thought they were just junk that no one wanted. Until about a year ago when a friend of mine that sets up at the Flea market was selling the crap out of vintage sports clothing. So now it is a race to see who can get there first.

Best Of Thrift Haul: 05/18/14 - Imgur

My pickups yesterday, anyone know if the Starter jerseys are more rare. I can't really find them on eBay.
