It´s in Sportcardheaven´s Museum now.

I had a new one for me as well, today.

Had a card listed at $4, with the sale it was around 3.6 or so. Next highest was 4.85.
The next highest seller lowers his price to 3.25 and then sends me an offer of 2.
I played along and countered at 3 which is what I would have sold it for even without his stunt.
He accepts and then off course reprices his back to 4.85. Yeah, yeah you got me there for sure.

Is this common practice? I just found it hillarious, especially coming from a seller with a 150.000+ card port.

I don't think I've ever noticed him before...definitely museum pricing.

Is there any way to hide cards with condition notes, at least when sorting by lowest price?

I keep seeing great deals and then clicking on them to see that all of the cheap cards are mangled and the cheapest in reasonable condition is expensive enough that I would have never clicked on it. Sorting by lowest price is kind of pointless when it doesn't take condition into account.

I don’t believe most of the condition notes so I read them look at the card and make my own judgement

Click Browse on the top left hand side of Screen and select Sport. Then on left hand side find Heading "Item Conditions" Click box for ungraded. Then once screen refreshes find Heading "Item Conditions" where you will see it has a check mark by Ungraded and now check the None box. Once it refreshes all you are seeing is ungraded with no condition notes. Then you can pick what decade or year you want to look at. Then go up top again and sort by lowest price.

I sent an e-mail asking about this one and submitted a correction. It was processed with another card last night that was P/F because of a crease. When you look at the group of cards...one of these things is not like the other.

That happens sometimes. I usually submit corrections like "why poor?" and some end up with condition notes like "water damage" or get moved into the correct buckets. Price on it is weird because there are plenty in the raw bucket for $1 each.

I had a guy buy 10 Young guns of the same player from me yesterday at .70 each. I go to his port and he has one of the same for sale at .57 cents. What. I didn't buy it, because I don't care about making .13 but it made me wonder what the eff

It's my card and the price was just so I could make it appear to show it. I was looking at the raw bucket when I posted and a lot of the cards there have major flaws to the surface (front and/or back), but no condition notes.

What would be really nice is when you are in your sales promotion page (editing it card by card), if it showed what you paid for the card.

You receive your asking price, and COMC receives the per-item shipping fee for the item. Together, those two numbers create the list price.

Unless it sells through eBay or Amazon, then you get 80% of the price on the left. But you agree to that when you sign up for crosslisting.

Just started using COMC on the spring. Had decent success with my first batch. Since then I’ve been on the hunt for cheap lots and have sent two more packages that I’m still waiting to go live.

So my question is, what’s the best way to cash out. Obviously buying some big singles to flip on here is the better alternative to the 20% cashout fee. What do you guys look for as good buys on there? Seems like most of the higher end cards I see are wildly overpriced but maybe I’m just not looking for the right items per se.

I've got a quick question. I've got a monster 20-cent thread on here but have for some reason not had any interest in it whatsoever despite guys like Judge, Jeter, Trout, Bryant, Altuve being 20 cents apiece.

I'm thinking about 1 more bump tomorrow. If no interest after that, I'm thinking about boxing all of them up and sending them to COMC. I've never sent anything to COMC. So if I ship them all there and mark them all 25 cents, would that be a good idea?

Again, I've never sent anything to COMC but could use any credit to buy overpriced vintage singles (I'd be okay spending a little more there because it'd be credit from stuff I don't want).

After looking at things, I think I'm going to pull the lots off here and list on COMC. Even if they sell for 50 cents each, I may make about $20 for the entire lot (after fees). So I can use that to buy a nice card or 2 for 50s-60s sets I'm working on.

Since they charge 30 cents a card to process, selling them at 25 cents is a very bad idea. I only sell cards that I can list at 75 cents or more in advanced resellers mode, but I would recommend for newer sellers to only sell cards you can sell at $2 or more each.

Most people will not tell you, just like they won't tell you their baseball prospects. Because that leaves less of those types of cards for when they want to cash out.
Some are waiting until COMC finally announces a lower fee structure for cashouts, which was hinted (promised?) a year or two ago.
Nonsport autos like Thor or Star Wars might be up your alley to resell.

This right here is the problem and why I don't ever see a cash out fee restructuring. There are a lot of people like me that have a large balance just waiting for a reduction and should they lower the fee to 10% or even 15%, I think they'd be bankrupt overnight after so many people cashed out. I've got almost $17,000 in my account at the moment and growing everyday. I have a hunch that there are many others with similar accounts or even larger.

The only way it would work would be to reverse grandfather the lower fees. Pick a date and say the fees are only lowered on items sold from that date forward, funds accrued prior will still be assessed the 20%. It would suck but it would be their only option. Or ... they could do what we all expect and leave the fees as they are or even raise them.

Look at were that income came from. Bear in mind I understand maximizing your profits and have no idea what you're selling so take with a grain of salt.

My cards that I sell on COMC are 95% of dollar box cards that I hauled around for a year, tried to sell here and/or on ebay, the other 5% were closet cards, cards that sat in a box and collected dust. It was a lot of wasted time and a TON of work to try to sell so I finally started comc and I love it! For me it is a ton of junk cards basically making me free money. While I do try to buy cards on site I want I dont care about the 20% cash out fee. If I buy a high end card to resell I'm still losing 13% in fees if I sell it on ebay and still losing 20% in value if I sell it here so - is it really worth the extra 7% to buy something, have it shipped to you, scan it, list it, sit on it until it sells for an additional 7%? Just cash out, take the cash and buy something that has more value to you personally or something that you can sell for more than the 7% you lost quicker. That's my take on it anyway.
