Good decision. Even if GV's start to consitently go for more, it won't last. Collectors hoard the golds, flippers use GV's for their jedi mind tricks.

but man the Josh Simmons news and clips coming out of training camp are great. It appears that he's already won the starting Left Tackle job and Taylor/Moore are fighting it out for Right Tackle.

I had a good feeling about this draft pick as stated by my prior posts …it’s going to be Josh, Kingsley, Creed, Trey, Moore for their Oline … in liking chiefs chances more and more

Any of you guys going to the national? I will be there Friday - Sun with my sons (now an annual tradition in its 4th year...). Really hoping I will be able to find another Mahomes or two to add to the collection. Picked up rookie autos each of the last 3 years, as well as some other cool case hits and lower numbered cards.

would be great to meet up with some of you long-time Mahomes guys on the boards to say hello in person...

Wanted to ask the more experienced Mahomes collectors here for an opinion. I’m looking to pick up a Mahomes auto. My three options are the following based on my price range of 3kish

1. Rookie auto but it would have to be a sticker

2. Rookie auto in a college jersey, most likely a sticker but possibly in card if I can get lucky

3. 2018 - second year auto on card. Still using his early version of his signature

Off the top of my head, either 1 or 3.

I'm usually not a huge fan of stickers, but there are a few nice true rookie card options that are stickers (Spectra, Certified, Plates and Patches, use this list as a guide if you'd like:https://www.beckett.com/news/patrick...ie-card-guide/)

Or if you're looking at second year, a nice patch auto or one of the better brands (Flawless, Immaculate) might be the way to go. Those aren't cheap, but bold auto and a brand that's sought after could be the way to go.

Most importantly: Get a card you like and don't see every day. It's a lot of fun when you get a cool card you enjoy that not everyone has!

While I cannot say looking for monster Mahomes was my priority, I did not see anything that stood out as a 6 figure Mahomes...

Definitely a good number of 4 and 5 figure Mahomies though... Lots of different shades of Optics and Prizm rookies and autographs...

So yes, I would agree with the above post, if they are there, they have yet to show up in someone's backpack or Zion case...
