Yep…In between $2-$4 per card when buying 20 or more direct from Topps, (for a very limited time only, after which no more will be made).

Yep…The vast majority of RC’s are going to end up busts, (just like in every other sport).

Yep…Lots of savvy collectors on Blowout.

It’s as if some of you guys think I’m the ONLY buyer of Topps NOW.

And those RCs that don’t end up being busts are selling for way over $100+.

Still buying but prices are lower now. Even for the fact that it's Mosaic and not a WC product, I thought it was gonna be a little more expensive.

As a side note, there is a guy who's been breaking WC sticker boxes and a few Mosaic boxes. This is the first time I've seen breaks since the last World Cup so at least there's that.

Its as you know. Hobby is growing in football with other nations adopting the "US" style of collecting, as well as the world cup being just around the corner, so of course prices are rising...wait, arent they?

Ill be honest with you man, things are bad with soccer card sales right now. I actually ended up sending a lot of my high end cards to Golden auction just to avoid the eBay fees.

The chickens are coming home to roost....i.e. a lot of people who "invested" in cards (and NFT's and Bitcoin) during the pandemic are now facing serious financial difficulties.

And at the same time, the manufacturers are continuing to churn out cookie-cutter products (for all sports) at a pace far in excess of what there is demand for.

Just in soccer, we've had 6-7 different Champions League products (all with virtually identical checklists), 3-4 different EPL products, as well as multiple Serie A, La Liga, and Bundesliga products....despite the fact that there's only demand for maybe half of that.

I've been shocked for how little I've had to spend to pick up some of the Finest Flashbacks parallels/inserts/autos I've been looking for.

For example, I picked up Black #/25 refractors of four different USMNT players (Adams, Dest, Aaronson, Weah) for a TOTAL of $125.

I was able to pick up a Schmeichel auto and a Iker Casillas Aqua auto #/30 for a TOTAL of less than $150.

There are a lot fewer people who have cash to spend right now than there were a year ago, so there are a lot of bargains to be had.

I'm very curious how the Toronto Sports Card Expo show goes this weekend. I expect sky high, wishful-thinking prices and few takers. Of course the show will be 90% hockey and 90% ultra modern cards, but hopefully I can find some obscure vintage stuff.

I don't think I'll ever truly understand the arrogance and self entitlement of people that send you offers on your listings that are 40% or lower than asking, and then after being declined message you angrily asking why.

Depends on how realistic the BIN price is, doesn't it? There are plenty of sellers who list cards at ridiculous prices.

sellers who list cards at ridiculous prices do it only to get traffic into their ebay store. I have done this for years. what you need to sell more then anything are the low end cards. People expect to buy a card at a BIN price for what it sells for in the auction. Then they expect free shipping from you as well.

You just need to block them and never deal with them again. Here is the thing. If you do not respond to the emails then your eBay listings get ranked lower in eBay's search engine so you cant win either way.

Ebay, wants you to be lower in the search. They just want you to pay for advertisement on the sight and sponsor the listings.

Last month on October 20 the ranked me as a below rated seller because I did not agree with 2 returns. Now I pay a 15% commission. On October 21st I was rated as a top rated seller. That will not change until November the 20th then I will get all of my Top rated seller perks back.

Now if you don't have your item shown on a white background , eBay will not cross promote your items on sites like, Amazon, Walmart, Target, It's to the point I am about to just open a website and just go back to only doing eBay auctions on low end items.

YES ALL BASE CARDS. everyone knows the base is over produced. If i had to guess I am sitting on well over 200 complete sets from 2020- 2021-2022 era with all of the extras from the cases. Ill end up putting them on eBay in one massive lot.

Ebay had taken the $80 I still had in my account and closed the account. I had not used eBay in over a decade after my divorce and decided to wait until I retired. I still live in the same location as when I began Ebay in 99. Not sure why they did what they did when I contacted EBay but the people I contacted seemed puzzled. They are connected. One of the many businesses’ that are.

As far as soccer cards. What is considered vintage? The oddball cards from the 70’s or the production cards from Pro Set from early 90’s and UD Minute Maid stuff ?
