I was fully expecting this today for Solo to stand with his brothers then turn on them.

People keep saying 3 yrs is too long for 1 guy to be champion like they just don't hear the fact that there are 3 guys with longer title runs in WWE history. People act like roman having the belts this long is some kind of world record. Hogan had the title another year and a half longer than Roman and he's one of the most loved wrestlers ever. Samartino held the title nearly 3x longer than Roman has held it. Good thing fans today weren't around back then.

and of course, it will end up being Solo who eventually beats Roman for the title

Yeah, but those guys weren't on TV 2 days a week, plus PPV.

Yeah and there was no weekley TV or social media or PPV when those guys held the title. There was only house shows to go to and a champ then could be hurt out for months at time and keep the title. Back then changing a title off a guy was a huge deal.

Next week I can see were Roman makes Jey choose say he's either with him or his brother. Jimmy just stands there and Jey makes it look like he's going to superkick Jimmy to just turn and superkick Solo. Roman bails from the ring and stares at them and we have a tag team match set up at MITB between Roman/Solo vs Uso's.

Pretty cool fake swerve with Solo turning shortly. That'll be a money match when he really does turn on Reigns. Seems a tag team match for MiTB is where it's heading. Still feel like a fatal 4 way is the next step for Summerslam.

I’ve been waiting a long time for a segment this good. Great storytelling and dramatic acting.

I'll be patiently waiting for the Roman Reigns "No." GIF.

Objectively this might be Rollins' worst 'character' so far. I get people like to sing the song, but what else? Hopefully he'll stop crying in interviews since they gave him the belt, but he's the same uninteresting, bad promo guy to me. It's been like 8 years since he was interesting.

With the confrontation with Balor at the end and the off-air hand-shaking with Rollins, I wonder if something is being planned for Priest to break out from JD.

Reading atticles online that the management has been impressed with Priest's work. Can the championship match last night be actually testing water for his potential move up to the future main event status?

It does feel like the group is primed to be broken up. On top of the situation with Priest, there's the dichotomy between Rhea and Dum-Dum.

Rhea is right up there with Becky for the most popular female in the company, and her on-screen boyfriend is easily the most hated male.

I do put stock in the idea of Priest leaving, but put no stock in the idea that JD is ending. There's rumors of JD McDonagh joining the group. Would make sense to bring him in to take Priest out, both figuratively and literally.

I think Priest works as a heel I don't think he would work as a face. His face run was just meh.

Maybe so, but it's even more incomprehensible for the Judgement Day to turn face.

Please tell me they aren't going to have Bron Breaker destroy Rollins for the World Title.

Not a chance. He’ll have a competitive match and lose and wouldn’t be hurt by it one bit.

Thing is early 80s people thought it was still real and Shieky Baby came over here from Iran hate America. It was eaiser to sell a character then as you did not have the so called smart marks. He sold the character well until him and Hacksaw decided to get coked up together.
