Just wanted to share a card I’ve been looking for, for several years. Arguably King Felix’s best card outside of any 1/1’s, with a print run of /50. Don’t know where the others are, but i have to assume most of them are in diehard Felix collections. I’ve only met one other collector who has stated he has one, but is not willing to sell it. Very definition of somewhat rare but definitely scarce, as there has only been two public sales in the last 6+ years.

As someone who very much loved watching him pitch, I was ecstatic at picking up this card. Thanks for looking!

I really feel like Hunter Greene’s breakout came in the 2nd half of last season. Now he just needs to stay healthy! If he does, I feel like he’s a top 3 finisher for NL CY voting.

Stumbled across this for $15. No way I was going to pass that up.

Wasn’t sure if i wanted to post this pickup in the dumpster dive thread, the players no one is dumb enough to buy thread but I’ve enjoyed this pitcher thread since it’s birth so here it is. He’s a 27 year old KC reliever but will be given a shot at returning to the rotation after putting up some very nice numbers in the pen. I’m a sucker for cheap gold refractor autos and for less than $20 delivered this one qualifies.
Very little chance of losing much money on this card.
Very little chance of making much money on this card.
It only takes a few of these bums flashing briefly per year to keep me interested

I have so far failed to pick up a single pitcher this off season, so I picked up a couple flagship golds of a hometown team guy for a few bucks. Have a few more coming as well.

It’s been a pretty boring offseason for me as I think Skenes has moved entire pitcher prospect market much higher then previous years. Would have loved to pick up some strider cards but prices still insane and guys I love like previously mentioned Spencer Schwell are really hi. Still quite a few guys I like a lot (mostly all bullpen arms that could move to rotation and be the next crochet). That being said almost all my money has went into Drgrkm stuff and a fun little side Bob Feller project (still need a 1937 opeechee)

My wife bought me a box of Topps Chrome Update and this was under a different Pirates rookie pitcher’s base card. I literally had just said “Why couldn’t that have been Skenes?!” The Black Wave refractor was a much nicer surprise.
