Nah. The market is not cornered. Plenty of room to join if you wish.

Right is right and left is wrong. And if a leftist talks back to a righty then they’re belittled for not being tolerant.

It does seem that way, I think it's more reality vs. fantasy. The whole, "One death is too many" mindset isn't coming from the right. That's fantasy.

Obviously, you got the far left and far rights that are just blinded by everything.

The left is the aggrieved party. That's certainly true.

Let me know what you demand for reparations.

Oh, so you have something to contradict what we pointed out to you about the true mortality rate? Let's hear it.

That's because "tolerance" is what the party allegedly fights for, when in reality, the position is "anything other than what working white Christians are in favor of".

And people want to believe the news?
What is the correct number? Please show your calculations.

Therefore, the actual mortality rate is more like .3%, which would not result in 6.3 million dead, as the graphic indicates.

Carry on with your fake stats.
Where are your numbers coming from? Please show your calculations.

You use the term in reality, but actually you fabricated your number where as the 2.6% is based on calculations. What does reality mean, again?

No biggie.
Can you cite where this 0.26% fatality rate is used by the CDC?

There are a lot of those, too, on both sides. I know a lot of leftest that would say they are Christian, and I know a lot of rightest, that you could argue don't practice Christian values (not my job to decide).

The calculations are basic math. What we don't know is how many cases there actually are. The CDC says it could be as many as 10x the number of known cases. What we know for absolute certainty is that you can't take (deaths/ known cases) and come up with the mortality rate, yet that is exactly what MSNBC did.

And then TheHeel actually asked "What is wrong with it?", as though you people thought every case out there is accounted for.

But the CDC is wrong....until they fit a narrative

Picking and choosing which stats/news stories are true is fun! Everything is easily dismissed....or not.

Which one of these is true:

(1) We don't know how many cases there are, but there are many people walking around with COVID without knowing it.

(2) MSNBC's numbers are spot on, because we know exactly how many people have COVID.

You people are sticking your necks out on this one for no other reason than to argue. You have absolutely no actual defense.

Only two for three. Not Catholic either, or any other variation of religion. I'm really not a conservative... I just got lumped in with them and embraced it because they don't smell AS bad. They're still vile creatures, just like liberals.

The only accurate way to find out the upper bound for mortalities that would occur if we strive for herd immunity (which in an of itself may not even be possible since the virus mutates, and immunity levels are still a point of debate) would be to take the mortality rates of known cases based on each demographic, then multiply it by the total U.S population per each age demographic.

If anyone here thinks that the elderly and other people with significant health risks would only die at a rate of 0.26% if infected by covid, I'd love to hear what data supports that argument.

But the fatality rate among "known cases" is already flawed. That's the point that people seem to be missing. If 3 people have died out of the 100 known cases, but 500 people are walking around with COVID without even knowing it, the fatality rate is not 3%.

And the death rate among college students doesn't come anywhere near .26%, so it kind of evens out.

Wow. For someone on the left to talk about being belittled for anything on this thread is laughable. Should I list the words that have been used to describe someone who votes for Trump?
