GOD....this is what I don't like about baseball....too much celebrating when you haven't won a damn thing.
162 games comes down to 5, then 1.

They have every right to celebrate for tonight.

Well, they do have to play first before we know what happens.

Agreed man.

I love baseball.

It's just always been a pet peeve of mine.

I feel that the big celebrations should only be for winning titles, not for advancing to the next round.

Just my opinion....not hating on any team.

I'll actually be rooting for the Dodgers in the next round.

And the game is never over until all 27 outs (or more) are recorded. Basketball/football, you can run out the clock and it often can be very anti-climatic towards the end. Baseball is often the opposite, especially in the playoffs.

I would have done the same if I were Dave Roberts. That being said, I don't like their chances against the Cubbies.

Even my football loving buddies agree that baseball has the best playoffs. You get nervous even if you don't have a team playing lol

The hats and shirts they get is mostly for marketing. They all go on sale and fans rush to the store the next morning to buy. I understand that seems like a bit much, but I have no problem with the celebrating. 6+ months of constant baseball coming down to a weeks worth of games, let them go nuts when they can.

Game was a nail bitter glad dodgers won and seeing Kenley and Kersh finishing that off, Cubs are the superior team in just about every aspect but anything can happen!

Wouldn't mind Indians. I really don't want the bluejays to advance. I want either the Dodgers or the Cubs to win it all

I actually think playoff hockey is the best in general, but Mets playoff baseball trumps it all

You have won something, you've won a chance to advance and earned it. Every team does this after a series win.

Using Kershaw for a game you had a better chance to score runs was illogical, saving him for the game you'd have more trouble scoring runs makes sense (common and mathematical).
How about using Kershaw in both game 4 and game 5?
How low did that decrease LA's chances of winning, I mean, mathematically speaking?

Brass nuts from Clayton tonight. I thought Murphy was going to come through. Difo didn't stand a chance, especially since he was swinging like he was going to go deep. Could this be the year Kershaw gets the postseason monkey off his back?

A great batch of division series'
