Toronto scores 18pts/100 fewer with Ben on Kawhi. That, plus Jimmy Buckets of course, was the difference in the game.

For Philly to get a road win with JoJo at like 50% capacity was huge.
I think as a Raps fan, the loss is bad but you played about as bad as you could possibly play and still have a wide open 3 from your best shooter with 20 seconds left to tie the game.

Reminds me a lot of game 1 vs Orlando. By no means did Philly have a great game but they won and that's all that matters.

I just hope they don't over correct and it becomes a Harden free throw fest.

Biggest Bucks game tonight since 2001. Sad, but true.

They might lose by double digits. I hope they win but they looked pretty bad in game 1. Hope they have a better approach this game after seeing the Celtics shut down Giannis.

I think we'll see a better effort from Milwaukee, but they're in massive trouble vs a tougher team.

I'm gonna predict MIL by 3 because they need it so bad.

GS to win also.

Kawhi and Jokic on pace to join some elite company...

Quote:
~Only 5 players have had a playoff run of >10 BPM, >50% FG & >30.0 PER.
~Comfortably clear of all thresholds bar Jokics' FG%.
~Extremely difficult to maintain but says a lot that no one else has done it in a first round playoff exit or short playoff run.
~Considering Kawhi missed last playoffs he'd join Lebron & Jordan as only players to do it in back to back playoff appearances (he did it in 16-17 w/ SAS).
~Min 5 GP 30 MPG.

Eh you said that to make yourself feel better.

I get along with all types. There's a lot of oddballs on here who mask it well. But it's cool, unique people are actually a breath of fresh air.

Also, some of the most famous, creative, brilliant and successful people are odd. Compared to some generic JAG (Just Another Guy), they are special.

Alright i'll get off my soapbox now. Go Celtics! Kick that ass!

I'm not entirely sure that Ben somehow stopped Kawhi. Sure he probably made life difficult on him, but Kawhi dropped 35 on 54% fg shooting and made several shots on Simmons including that and1 late. That's still elite superstar numbers. Kawhi was still Kawhi.

The real story thus far is the Raptors bench. You're not going to win many playoff series' with your bench being that bad...let alone 5 points combined. Find me a couple other teams that win a playoff game when their bench drops single digits, regardless how good their superstar does. I'd guess not many.

If they can't get their act together, they're done.

Celtics doing an absolutely brilliant job clogging Giannis' driving lanes.

Nobody is stopping Kawhi. But Simmons did a pretty awesome job on a guy that's in some great.form. and it didn't wear Butler out.

Kawhi owned them game 1.
Kawhi was still great game 2, but not quite as great.

The Celtics players better learn to stop head butting Giannis' elbows on those Giannis drives. He's getting away with murder right now.

Modern day Shaq.

I didn't know Horford had it in him, but it looks like he's in Giannis' head right now.

I agree he does just about as good as anyone in the league at making Kawhi's life difficult.

But still, the bench. Modern day NBA games hover around 100-120 points a game. Meaning if your bench scores 5, you're forcing your starters to account for 95-115 points a given night. Around 20 points a player. That's imply unrealistic in any circumstance.

I honestly don't know what happened to them. Many of the same names that did decently in the playoffs last year suddenly look like G league backups.

Looks like Kyrie wasn't lying about this team waiting for the playoffs. Much better than I thought they would be. Even if they end up losing this game.

When you play as hard as we did the last couple years only to get snuffed out by Lebron, it zaps you a little bit. The best thing to do was to coast a little then turn it on in the playoffs.

We're physically and mentally fresh right now.

Bucks have 2 offensive plays. Shoot 3 or give it Giannis for an attempt at layup.
