I’ve always been confused by the Jabs popularity. My first introduction to his channel was a video about José Uribe and the ultra rare and valuable 90 fleer card. And I think he sold it for pretty good money too. I couldn’t tell if he was just uninformed himself or taking advantage of suckers, but either result left me wondering, why is this guy’s channel so popular?

The other thing that always struck me as odd about his popularity is his lack of personality. He doesn’t have much of a sense of humor for example. When I first saw his face on video, I was shocked he didn’t have a moustache. I was picturing someone like kip, napoleon dynamites brother, who looked and acted a lot older than he actually was, haha.

Despite how I’m sure it sounds, I don’t dislike him or have anything against him, I’ve just always been perplexed. I would say overall my feelings about him are very neutral.

I am not a Jabbs fan, but the way people spend their money is on them. If they wanna get ripped off by him, then it's their money. More power to him and them.

My issue is his ball collecting at PNC Park. He literally pushed a little kid out of the way in one video to get a Royals ball and was told by security about it and was like "I don't have a Royals ball"

If I saw him doing that to my kid, he wouldn't be making anymore videos.

I have seen some of his videos because he opens a lot of older stuff that I grew up with. All the stuff that people send him for free is the part that baffles me. I understand super chatting the guy a few bucks to help support the channel, but sending someone a pile of valuable cards makes me wonder "why?". But hey......its their cards and their business to do what they want with them.

Obviously there is a lot of hate for the guy here. After reading some of the comments I would say that some of yall need as much help as he does. Its not healthy to hate someone as much as some of yall hate him, especially someone that probably has never touched your lives any deeper than a YouTube video. LOL

Jabs got me back into buying cards a few months ago. His excitement over cheap hits entertained me for awhile as I adjusted to a new work schedule. Youtube started suggesting his videos to me on a regular basis and I used his breaks to put me to sleep. Even bought into one of his breaks. Eventually his other content started auto-playing and something made my spider senses tingle.

There was a video of him at a flea market and the drop in his voice was actually terrifying. Lol. So it told me right away his cheery/chipper personality was all an act. In the same video he haggles with this seller over some Barry Bonds rookie cards. At 1st the seller wasn't interest but Jabs returns and haggles again. Get's him down in price after some decent back and forth only to instantly show his brother and go "not bad for ___dollars!" in a passive brag you usually see on the internet from folks seeking attention. Why the heavy back and forth only to brag you fleeced the guy? It told me dude's intentions weren't as genuine as he portrayed in his break videos. The very next video to pop up was another break video.

In the break people are asking him about his profit margin and he says he's lucky to break even after shipping etc. In the same video he goes on to say how he didn't know how much to charge for spots so he copied the price of some other breaker. It didn't take psych 101 to tell you that breaker was a for-profit breaker so if you're breaking even, why are you copying prices from breakers who's price points are to make money? Now this told me he was a liar and there was way more to this person.

I was turned off at this point when his store was suggested to me by eBay and I seen he was selling game used balls. I was curious and clicked and instantly was able to tell they were BP balls. When I messaged and asked why these were labeled as gamed used when there's no signs of actual game use he ignored the message. I knew for a fact dude was a full blown scam artist in hiding and it wasn't all that complex to see after all.

It's hard to tell if the cancer/divorce is part of the scheme but I wouldn't ignore it either. Dude found a lane and is trying to abuse every outlet possible. Might be because the dude is twacked in the head. Might be for profit. Might be for attention. Idk. But the anonymous accounts that are defending him as if they stand to gain from it only confirms how not right in the head this guy actually is. It baffles me how successful scammers can be with such flawed mental capacities. It baffles me more that I got so wrapped into the onion that is this sociopath.

I hope trading cards are worth it. There are plenty of other nut jobs in here with out the scamming. I only hope he is eventually taken down from profiting off anybody.

I'm upset that he removed his I'M GETTING DIVORCED video. It was one of the funniest things I've seen all year. A sad man alone in his house opening packs, detailing his misery and neglect of his business, pausing occasionally to remark on a rookie. He's actually what brought me to this forum and in no small part introduced me to the hobby. And I will never give him money.

Anyway, if I was waiting on a Patreon package and saw this cat walking around NYC, I'd probably be pissed.

It’s not his wife. It’s the same girl that was in a previous flea market video that he said he got reacquainted with that he knew from high school. (according to what people have said they’ve seen on his patreon posts).

I have come up with a few astute observations over the last year....It makes a lot of sense, this hobby is for people that have time...lots of it... to burn. Also, apparently money to burn on valueless stuff. This all happens without being ripped off....we dont need to get ripped off too on top of this.
