Not really sure where to put this so I thought I would ask it in this thread.

A little backstory:

I sold a sealed booster box case of Evolutions on eBay. I've had this case since the product released. Buyer tried to pull a scam where he opened it, inserted fake booster boxes and was hoping I wouldn't fight it.

He sent product back to me, it's clearly fake and not the product I sent him. Even the outer factory sealed case was opened on both sides and re-taped badly on one side by him.

Thank goodness for the Authenticity Program at eBay, they sided with me that he scammed me out of the product. They let him keep his refund as a one time courtesy so he got to keep roughly $4500 and all the original booster boxes that I mailed to him that he swapped out. I got to keep the money from the sale.

My questions is I have all this fake Evolutions product he returned to me. Is there any use for it at all? I feel weird throwing it in the garbage even though that's where it will most likely end up. I don't think anyone wants to buy replicated cards and they can't be used for the game so should I just throw them all away?

It seems so strange to me that people take the time to make fake packs and cards and pull scams like this guy did.

And it is not even close. There are far fewer breaks of Evolving Skies because of box 📦 prices. The single prices of cards like Moonbreon have come down, but that set has history and long term potential.

Thought I would ask this question in here instead of creating a thread:

I have 20 or so empty Hidden Fates tins. Is there a market for these at all? I know some people like the empty tins and I would feel weird just throwing them away. Is it worth listing on eBay or just better off getting rid of them?

I would do Facebook Marketplace personally. I havent checked on those specifically in a while, but I used to move empty tins for a $1-$3 each on Marketplace.
