Is Houston all of a sudden rebuilding with Stroud?

Seems dumb

And I couldn’t give a crap about either team outside of being a Stroud fan

Washington receives:
LT Laremy Tunsil
2025 4th

Houston receives:
2025 3rd
2025 7th
2026 2nd
2026 4th

If Houston hates Stroud so much how about #2 and some extra picks for him? I’ll sign off on it

It's not about whether or not TEN is drafting a QB. It's about the guarantee of getting your guy.

If the Giants want Cam Ward and no one else, they still need to make the trade and jump the Browns. Or Prevent someone like the Raiders, Jets or so on from coming up to get it.

It's like when the 49ers traded out of 1, they were never taking the QB but it's about someone guaranteeing the pick

Yeah definitely confusing...

OL was obviously a HUGE weak point..and while Tunsil isn't "young" anymore, he's still elite and definitely was their best OL...

My god, this does almost nothing for them this year.

Unless they really use the free cap space to upgrade elsewhere.

Must be more deals to come from this.

Jets and Raiders are not moving up to top 2 spots to grab a QB after the moves they just made. The Giants don't need to worry about those two teams being in their way

Understandable in theory...and I'm sure they can still get a haul..

I just don't think it'll be AS much if they didn't play their cards already...unless it was a smokescreen

Or maybe we can see some sort of Eli Manning deal

If you are the Giants, and you want Cam Ward and nobody else, you have to move to #1. If you are not married to any QB, let one fall to you at #3. Worst you can do is Sanders or Dart

Giants are better off just letting the clock run out and not submit a pick. Go 0-17 and then get Arch.

I don't think they really have much say in it. The schedule next year is brutal, even if they tried next year they would maybe win at best 5 games.

I'm surprised the NFL hasn't implemented a lottery system.

Prevents tanking (depending on the lottery odds) and would add a ton of intrigue prior to the draft.

I get that, but unless the ownership says ahead of time- "okay guys just throw the season, your jobs will be safe until we get Arch manning", then the coach and staff will do all that they can to try and win and keep their jobs

Totally, which is why the Giants are one of the worst situations in the entire NFL. Everyone knows they have no hope next year. The coach and gm will likely get fired and then its another reboot.

Would not prevent tanking

For anyone paying attention, Olave and Wilson got Fields to the pros, not the other way around. They did great with Stroud also.

Fields isn't a NFL starter quality of QB.
Get ready for fireworks again when NYJ is in last place by midseason.

For 31 other teams, yes, but we're talking the Jets. Def coordinator as 1st hc, QB with terrible completion percentage...Its the same old jets lol

Don’t count out the Dolphins.

This isn’t good…

• 3.3% allowed pressure rate since 2021

• 7 games with zero pressures allowed in 2024 (only Lane Johnson had more with 8)

• 88.6 PFF pass block grade (#4)

I thought McKee was going to the Browns for 2 #1 picks?
