I don't want a retread of what Punk has done before, IMO. I would prefer he stay as far away from Heyman as possible.

Something from last night that was confusing: how exactly was Priest supposed to cash in? If one of Seth's team were to take the pin or submit, would he lose his title? That was a very weird way to segue into Randy as well - who came up with that idea, anyway? Very silly.

Still digesting the Punk return...

With the actors strike over soon, feel that the potential Rock-Reigns program will be pushed back.

If that's the case, my guess is that Cody will win the RR again next year and cross over SD! to challenge Reigns at WM.

If Rollins can get over the real beef with him, then Punk-Rollins at WM. Can have Priest cash in at that time if anything goes wrong, I guess.

Cody v. Reigns seems inevitable.

I could see a Punk vs. Priest for the title on night 1. Would they really have Punk as a heel right now or turn Rollins heel? I just don't see it.

Can't wait for Raw tomorrow night. Rollins has walked out before and I hope he does so again and I have a feeling a lot of people will be right behind him. Although from what I've seen of Cody's presser he's laping that schit up which is no surprise.

there are reports that Rollins had to be escorted away by HHH and others once he got to the back as he was actively looking for C.M. Punk.

Quote:
At one point, Rollins began trying to approach Punk up the ramp while flipping him off and repeatedly saying ‘F*** you.’ Michael Cole and Corey Graves had to hold back Rollins and try to calm him down as the show went off air. Fan video captured Graves telling Rollins that it wasn’t worth it as Rollins said “he needs to get the f*** out of here and to the back before I knock him the f*** out.” Eventually, Punk left the stage area and Rollins was led backstage by WWE security and Graves/Cole.

Fightul Select reports that when Rollins got to the back, Triple H and Michael Cole had to escort him away as he was visibly upset by the return and looking for Punk.
Quote:
CM Punk made his way out to the live crowd and it was revealed that he was returning to the company. Randy Orton grabbed a chair in the ring and took a seat, waving to CM Punk as Punk waved back and mimicked his in-ring pose. Rhea Ripley was standing outside of the ring and flipped him the bird while mimicking his pose.

who knows what is true, but i saw where the participants in the main event were told before they went out what was happening. if thats the case, rollins blowing up could not be authentic. if he were truly that mad about it, and knew what was going to happen, he would not have went out there in the first place or would have thrown his fit backstage on hunter

Does punk even work our anymore? Guy looks like he has zero muscle. I get we are way past kayfabe, but there's no believable way he could beat up anyone in the ring.

Tomorrow's RAW ratings should blow AEW out of the water. I don't agree with how Punk acted in AEW, but I love his character. I just like that instigator character. Always starting crap. If Trips can keep him in check, and they can really cash in on a good story line, in the past words of Hunter "it's what's best for business". I have been a supporter of AEW since day 1, but I feel it has gotten really stale lately. For a long time I was watching 75% AEW, and 25% WWE. But the past 6 month or so, those numbers have flipped. AEW is now a watch on DVR and fast forward through and stop on certain parts.

We all know Punk is a human powder keg that can go off at anytime. So this could easily backfire on Triple H and he could lose some of the guys in the locker room also. I have to imagine that he had a long talk with Punk before agreeing to bring him back.

He looked stature wise the same he's looked for 15 years lol.

I'm just excited to see what's happening tomorrow. The star power on RAW right now will be unreal. Punk, Orton, Cody, Jey, Sami on the babyface side is killer. (though the Indication from the past week is Jey is likely off for a mid tier feud with McIntyre).

Punt Rollins to the moon. Not a fan.

I think Punk has been told he won't get benefit of the doubt and any issues come up he will be gone and WWE is not going to deal with any headaches of his.

A lot of people look fine wearing a t-shirt. I don't think he'll be wrestling in a t-shirt.

Then again, this guy beat Samoa Joe, so, I guess anything is possible in the world of wrestling.

Just give me an unsanctioned MMA fight with no ref between Punk/Lesnar. No tap out, no ref stoppage just go until the other guy gets tired of beating your ass.

He's looked that way for 15 years. He's the biggest star on the roster. Nobody said a word about Sami Zayn's build when they all wanted him to beat Roman.

It's funny last time he was in company he was the star treated Miz like crap and now things are kind of reversed and if Miz wanted to I am thinking Miz could probably have say to have Punk treated like how Miz was by Punk. Though I don't think Miz is that vindicative to do that.

Miz carved out a really successful career for himself by being the company man. He works his butt off and puts anyone over they ask. Arguably one of the guys they trust the most as he's always given celebrity duty.

HHH must have laid down the law because both McIntyre and Rollins put it in reverse and basically played off their being pissed at a live show Sunday night.

McIntyre

Quote:
“If you watched the show, you know why,” Drew McIntyre said. “I didn’t win the world title match recently. WarGames last night, stupid team lost the match for me. You’ve heard things probably on the internet. Not in a great place, but there’s one thing that can turn this frown upside down, that can change things for me. It’s getting that world title. I don’t think of anywhere better than for Big D to finally win his first world title in front of live fans than right here in Peoria, Illinois.

Seth Rollins

Quote:
“You guys watch WarGames last night? [Fans chant ‘CM Punk’] You already know how I feel about that,” Seth Rollins said. “I said as much last night. I’m not gonna waste any more breath on somebody who’s been gone for eight years, has done nothing but try to tear this place down. Instead, I want to take my time, waste my breath, use my breath, on talking about the people who’ve been here all along. “That’s everybody in the back who’s made WWE the hottest ticket in town. That’s every single one of you, who are here tonight in Peoria.
