The QC was so bad that there's a good chance (40% or higher, based on my own experience) that any card you get will be significantly off-center, damaged, or have print/packaging defects.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's also the high print run, the weak autos, and the fact that outside of Witt and Julio (and maybe Greene) there's almost nothing to chase.

Had a few cool Bobby pick ups over Christmas break and a have a really nice one coming this week. I'll get some pics uploaded as I can. Here are a few I sent to PSA and came back today...

The only think I could think of from 2019 was the Arizona Fall League All Star game but ... no sign of him in the BOX SCORE

His 2019 AFL stats were pretty pedestrian, 164 ABs hitting .262 with 1 home run and 9 SB.

That patch is the logo from the 2012 MLB All-Star game hosted by Kansas City. The card says “Player worn”, so I’m assuming they just had him wear that jersey for a minute or two before cutting it up.

I actually have zero issue with players putting on a jersey for 30 seconds and putting them in cards. As long as it is the player on the card that wore it. Not sure why that jersey has any relevance to Witt though.

The 2012 All Star Game was hosted by KC and Bobby plays for KC. It gave Leaf a way to put a juicy looking Royals patch in a Bobby card.
