The duration of sales is indicated as until 24hrs after the team is eliminated or have won the tournament.

The team sets are again "If xxx win, you win!".
So, a bonus card if the teams wins Semi Final match, then another bonus card if the team wins the Final.

Finally here! It was just thrown in the box in the middle of some other ads and coupons so I think like the convention many will get tossed or just left in the box, and condition will be as issue.

Have anybody used the code CUBSTH for 25% off already?
I'm thinking to wait until if USA goes to final 4, because then I can buy the team set with discount too.

EDIT : It's really like I'm talking to myself here, but noticed that the coupon only works for the Cubs related Topps Now cards... (in this case, the Spring Training set)

Well, now there is one up on eBay for $499.
It's not BIN BO. It's auction starting at $499...

Now more chances that the other season ticket holders will follow this pricing, though it is ridiculously high.
But then again, they might not have such hobby minded thought, so maybe we can still find them cheap if we wait patiently.

They added the 10 sets bulk option.
1 set = $34.99
10 sets = $299.99 (discount of $5 per set)

I just bought 5 for my Japan team set.
I'm hoping they don't make me spend more money with relics on the Final 4, but suppose they will...

New cards are up.
Only 2 cards today.
Machado single card, and Gregory Polanco / Nelson Cruz dual card.
Machado should have high PR I suppose.

I was surprised by how much Tetsuto Yamada card printed.
396!! (though I'm one of those who bought 20).
Maybe people see him as a potential future Major Leaguer like I do.

Here is a little insight into the Ultimate Card Giveaway code cards. I originally was considering attempting to put together a set of these throughout the year, but am scrapping that plan for the time being due to family financial obligations.

I had accumulated a total of 661 code cards and had a total of 82 winners for a success rate of 12.41%. I think this is a large enough sample size such that the margin of error is very low.

Winners seem to be seeded oddly, I had one occasion where I had about 50-60 straight losing cards, and there were other times where I'd hit 4 out of 5. Could be just luck that it worked out that way.

Of the winning cards, the lowest number I won was card #3, the highest was card #442. There were three cards I won twice, and one I won three times (card #148). There was also one winner that says card #0 and it doesn't have an SKU # on the website where it tracks my reserved cards. I'm not sure what this means.

The average cost per winning card worked out to be $3.44

To me it was worth it since the cheapest these can be acquired is $4 per card on the website (if I'm not mistaken).

So there you have it, take all this information for what it's worth.

Topps suckered me into my first purchase of the year with the Yankees spring training No Hitter with Tanaka on it. Well, first individual card of the year since I pre-ordered the Yankees Spring Training Team Set.

I almost thought Topps forgot about the Spring Training cards (this is only the 4th card), but yeah, the Yankees and Tanaka deserved to get one.

i may have to bite the bullet on the Cubs ST Team set, since it really seems as though there are going to be "bonus cards" issued for the cubs throughout the season that will only go to those that bought the ST Team Set

Of course I should have checked E-bay first and saved $2.

I was wondering something about the WBC team sets.
The selling time limit is until each of the team is eliminated or wins it all.

So, let's say if a buyer just wants to buy a set of the Champion team, so that he/she can get the most Bonus cards.
The buyer can just wait until the whole WBC Final tournament is over, and get the team that gives you 2 Bonus cards (one for advancing to Finals, and the other for winning it all).

Doesn't this kind of seem dumb for Topps to do?
I mean, people like me will buy the Team Japan and USA set anyways, regardless if they lose at the Semi Finals, but some might only buy the set of final winning team, so that they know they get 2 bonus cards of that team.

I think the 2016 MLB Playoff cards had selling limit until before the playoff started, so guessing of which team to win might have played part in buyer's mind as well.
But now, none of that is needed if you just want the Champion team cards + 2 bonus cards to get.
Of course, you will miss the 10 cards from the set, but just curious why Topps decided to change the selling format which seems to only work against their favor.
For buyers, there is nothing negative about this, but just thought to write down what I had in mind.

They may be doing it to test different approaches. It will be interesting to see if they adjust the price if the sets as things change. Reduce the price of eliminated teams and raise the price of sets that receive a bonus card.

The Adam Jones card did not fail us. Looks great!
The image captures right when the ball goes into Jones' gloves, and the audience behind!
The guy on left did good job with his expression too. Lol

And Stanton!!!
I love that fierce look on his face. Another great card from Topps.

I know this is 2016, but I'm not going to dig out that thread. Did a small show today and had Topps Now with me.

Sold 3 PSA 10s, 2 Sanchez and 1 Bryant. It was all in a package deal but I figure I ended up with about $120-$130 for the 3 of them.

Sold about 16 assorted regular cards at $8 a piece. Just basic Yankees (including low priced Sanchez), a bunch of Red Sox, and some cards like Bregman, and Bryant.

More people knew about them than I would have thought but nobody was looking to pay big bucks.

I probably could have sold more PSA 10s.

Good call. And I bought 1 just because I like how it looked... it was the first time I bought a Topps Now on eBay pre-release because I only wanted 1.
