2012 do not have the RC logo, they are not RC cards despite 2012 being his career RC year. Having said that, card wise, a 2012 card is no different than a 2018 card of Trout. They both dont have the RC logo.

I'm aware of that. A lot of his earlier cards, especially graded ones had a big increase in price this year. 2012 Finest wasn't one of them.

I will let others answer. It is a rare card and as far as I know there are no comparable sales for a gem mint Gold Refractor from this year. A BGS 8.5 sold for $30,300 on eBay (PWCC auction) in July 2018. FWIW, my guess would be $50,000-60,000

The Gold Refractor sold for $48000 (hammer price).Did anyone from here win it? If yes, congrats! My bid was $45000. I was seriously debating whether to increase my bid to the next increment of $51,000 but decided not to due the buyers premium and state tax. I was also bidding on LeBron Rookie Gold Refractor PSA 10 and I am glad I won it. Hopefully, a 2009 BC gold refractor will appear on eBay auction so that I can buy it without having to pay 30% premium.

I don't blame you. I tried my best not to buy the Target Red BGS 9.5 on eBay. I was able to control my desire only for a week. It's one of the most beautiful Trout Cards. My card is still in transit. Hopefully, I will get it tomorrow or the day after. Really excited....

After the 2013 came back from BGS a few days ago, now I’ve got all three (rare) Trout Topps Chrome SPs. I really wish they’d go back to when the Chrome photo variations were actually scarce!
