May have been discussed earlier, trying to create EQL account but getting message about problem with CC. Trying to get 1 box to see what the hoopla is about.

Logistically, it's easier to ship to one address.

Also helps keep prices higher and maintain more FOMO if less unique individuals are able to get any.

so is Wemby autos really worth it in this product since its unlicensed. I guess its better than Wemby in baseball uniform autos they have been doing.

I haven't reviewed the checklist but if there's a base on-card auto Wemby rookie in the product (unsure if the base version is a sticker), it'll be THE Wemby auto rookie to own. Even if the base versions are all sticker autos, they'll still be in strong demand.

Just remember, Curry's Topps and Topps Chrome rookie cards are of him in a white t-shirt (that year, rookies were in pajamas and vets were in uniforms). And, despite Curry not being in an NBA uniform, his Topps and Topps Chrome rookies are among his (and the overall hobby's) most desired/collected rookie card.

Unlicensed or not, Topps Chrome is Topps Chrome. Collectors want it regardless.

Submitted my EQL entries for multiple cases and multiple loose boxes.

I'll probably end up with nothing but YOLO.

Still waiting on the outcome of the Fanatics product drop too.

The base Wemby auto is sticker, however I just saw a Wemby base refractor auto that is on-card. So maybe anything above base is on-card.

That'll do. As long as base or base parallels are on-card, it'll be his auto rookie to own (probably more so the base parallels but they'll be priced astronomical).

Apart from the Wemby base Auto, Houdini's personal breaks were pretty brutal.

No Wemby parallels of any kind, no LeBron except for base/inserts.

Lot of people lost around a grand..

The couple local shops to me already sold out of their hobby boxes this morning in the $550 range. I’m not sure if there will be a race to the bottom or not on this one, I think most buyers are waiting to see if they get any boxes for $300. Once 95% of people are notified that they didn’t get any $300 boxes they’ll have to go out and buy the $550 boxes to participate. I know not everyone will pay the $550, but I know I’m opening a couple cases of this, and if I don’t get any on the release I’ll be going online to buy them for the current price.

i watched houdini this am, he pulled a nice base wemby auto, but everything else he pulled from a case was complete garbage... why not just buy the wemby you want?

Hobby box prices will definitely come down once the market is flooded with them. But at the same time, there'll be strong demand for the boxes so they won't just tank. I wouldn't be surprised if they get down to the $425-$450 range then climb back up as available supply dwindles.

Even once the superfractor is pulled, there's still the base/base parallel/insert parallel (and LeBron) autos to chase.

Obviously, it won't be a value product like TC Olympics/SW but more of a risk it for biscuit product.

the floor is crazy low on this even if you get a box from topps at msrp it feels like an almost guaranteed loss.

I think the bowman 1st stays on top, but it'll be interesting to see how things shake out

This is the case for anyone opening wax. It will always be a losing venture. You are just paying for the entertainment value.

Because I’d like to also have the chance for a low numbered Wemby that would cost more than a couple cases to purchase. I understand there’s more of a risk doing it this way though.
