Perfect timing with playoffs, not so much with weather. I hold my long slew stuff tol that weather rolls around. I have two walkin closets filled with crap and racks in the garage! Ha! It's bad but my wife doesn't mind (yet.)

local salvation army thrift store had a 50% off everything sale for the holiday. first time really looking around there. not nearly as much stuff as the goodwills, but still found a few decent things.

adidas..looks and feels basically new

vintage nike air T..probably $1. size is XL

also picked up a pretty nice Chevrolet Heartland black jacket and lost season 1 dvd set. dirt cheap prices, just couldnt say no. wish there was more stuff.

I wouldn't describe this as successful yet. These prices/sales are from a lot of hours logging in looking/listing/selling...especially learning. I try to learn as much as I can about what's popular, collectible, etc.

I'm having a lot of fun doing it and I think I'll be able to build it into something to help my family while I'm getting my CPA but I don't want to pretend that you can just go to one store and find a treasure trove.

Picked up a Ricky Vaughn bobble head doll in the original packaging and box today for $1. Looked on Ebay and the last one sold for $75. I knew it was a good find but didn't think it was that good.

Finally just listed the last batch of these on eBay yesterday. I've done pretty well piecing them out like the one member here said to do. At first I listed the whole lot for $99.99 starting bid and $25 shipping - didn't sell. SO I started piecing them out and I would say all in all with out this last batch sold yet Ive made about $200 and I even threw a few out because I felt they were a little to "used" for my liking to sell. Im surprised I haven't even got an offer on the boom box though

Savers is having a 50% off sale today. I've stopped at three today so far. Crazy busy, but some good pickups. Some Goodwills are also having a 50% off clothing sale.

I went to the one I normally go to today because they were having a 50% off sale and it was absolutely nuts, no where to park and when I did find a place to park I went in and found about $18 worth of stuff and then went to get in line - we stood in line for 15 minutes and moved 5 feet, at that rate we would have stood in line for an hour literally. I finally gave up and just left. Went to another one that was having a 50% off sale and found one Hawaiian shirt, its a Puritan so not the hottest ones but for $1 I couldn't pass it up as it has a pretty cool pattern. Would have taken a pic but its in the wash right now.

Made a few sales this weekend. Nothing major but $10-$20 here and there add up and keeps me going. Went to the Goodwill on the other side of town this morning. Ive been having some luck with finds there. Picked up a pair of very nice Brooks Brothers polos in very good condition. Also these finds

Italia Puma Jersey Shirt..Brand new, with tags. XL
Think Im going to do very well with this one..hoping for $50 or more.

This I acutally got at the Salvation Army. Vintage Chevrolet "Heartland" Snap Jacket XL 50% off

Vintage 1995 The Game style Duke hat. Who doesnt love the game? Only .99!

Im thinking I might go to the other Goodwill this afternoon. Ive got nothing better to do...sweet pickin' folks!

dang you find alot of good sports stuff. i find alot of decent clothes, some ive even kept to wear myself, but very little along the lines of jerseys and nicer sports clothes. i ran into two colts jerseys last week, replicas of dallas clark and addai, but i figured there was ZERO market for those guys, so even at like $4 each i didnt pick them up. cant be worth more than $10-15 if youre lucky.

nice stuff overall though!

mostly Pawn shops and rarely TS.
Price wise, it depens of condition, but no more than 85$ with that range you can double your money. i wish i live in a big City NY, Chicago.... i would do the rounds on all PS and hunt for treasures. The thing with trumpets is that a good one will sell always for good price.
I found that anything else but trumpets won't sell. ( also I'm a trumpeter )

Here it is. Wish the Indiana warmup fit me!! Grr, its too big, even at medium. The Budweiser jersey fits me like a glove though ha. Reds jersey is brand new with tags. Red wings jersey is stunning, all sewn. Just in disbelief I found this stuff. Also grabbed some really nice button down shirts- polo, lucky, harley, brooks brothers and tommy bahama. A whopping $60. The Wings jersey alone Ill also that or more. Very Good Day! My fav of course is the vintage IU stuff..find it everywhere since I live in Bloomington.

Went on my first "thrifting" experience... there's a goodwill about 10 mins from my house. No sports items unfortunately... but I picked up some nice things I think:

4 Crayola Items: $10
2 Terner Watches: $1 ($0.50 each)
Motto Dress: $1
Lane Bryant Dress: $3

$15 total spent... I'd like to think I can make my $$ back on this... all is listed on Ebay now. Will let you know how it turns out...

So I have been doing a lot of research about vintage toy collecting. After buying my kids modern toys for the past 12+ years I am really longing for the toys of yore. One thing I have found and been told repeatedly is if it says collectible on it, stay away! Collectible is a marketing scheme that manufacturers put on packages but very few of them are actually collectible, desirable, limited or valuable. Made sense to me talking to some dealers, but I hope I am wrong and you stumbled into some nice crayon as there. Either way good finds and I am sure you will get at least your $10 back on them!
