This was 100% user error on my part. Who needs an account on twinsjake.com, says I on June 1 2020. Apparently I wised up around June 15 and set one up. Edited my post here in case anyone else experiences similar issues.

Twinsjake is fine and orders are ok until proven otherwise. The cards I am expecting from him aren't in hand for anyone yet.

EDIT - 100% user error on my end. Leaving this post up in case anyone is seeing the same issue. The first cards were ordered prior to my account creation on twinsjake.com. Twinsjake is fine until proven otherwise, the cards I am expecting from him are not live yet.

I screwed up and forgot my apartment number on my first order from him. Fingers crossed they make it. Might need to go talk to USPS.

Between this post, the FB group, and twitter, the sheer number of people complaining about twinsjake is truly amazing. It's one guy in a basement processing thousands of orders and people act like he's got a full customer service department to answer their incessant whiny emails. The most cringe worthy part of P2020 was when buyers started demanding that Topps bubble wrap come with their order, and now sellers will say... "ships with box and bubble."

This Project has done a number on people, and it's only half way through.

Suuuuper unpopular opinion coming up. The Gibson and the Clemente look cheapy to me because of the way he's used a medium (watercolor?) for the skin tone. I did watch it. No, Mr. Cartoon's clown is not a match for the guy on AHS, but when I saw it, it is the first thing I thought of. Oh, and I don't like clowns (as noted).

If people are complaining about how Ermsy draws black players, it's is a sign that it's been too long since the last Keith Shore card. Pleeeeez let today be a Keith Shore Jeter for the F-You set.

But, this is something that I also noticed on Ermsy's Gibson, but for whatever reason it doesn't bother me at all. If anything, it makes it look quirkier and more real and Ermsier to me.

I don't think the Clemente is near my favorite Ermsy. I love the colors, Ermsification of dorky 1955 Topps, and nod to Clemente's cannon in right field. This drawing of Clemente throwing hits me in the chest, bruh <tears up>. The hand gesture is also happy and mysterious. I don't know what it means, but it gets me going.

OTOH, I miss that it doesn't have a complicated Rube Goldbergesque design like Ermsy's other 1950s cards. The layout also feels a little off, but I take this as part of him making fun of the 1955 design.

I wasn’t wanting to say it out loud, but here goes...

Shortly after hit 3,000, Clemente found himself in the most unfortunate of places. An angel of the sea appeared in the form of a pirate, (no other figure would be more appropriate), put his arm around Clemente with comfort and said, “I got you”, as he helped Clemente make one last journey.
