I have quite a bit, but not all my eggs are in this basket. If he flops next year, it will definitely hurt though.

What is your success rate with such investments?I mean how many players have you invested in before and how many of them turned out to be profitable?

Dabbled a little bit in prospect investing last year. Sold almost everything to buy Acuna!!!!

Flop isn’t even in my vocabulary...Ronny baseball!

The only one I sold (regrettably) was a BGS 10 blue ref chrome auto. I had a few chrome autos from over a year ago, but about half my collection was traded for/won/purchased before call up.

I'm less worried about him sucking and more worried about suffering a devastating injury, which he barely avoided in his rookie year already.

Was on the verge of getting out of debt in the fall of 2017 (caused by previous card purchases lol) then decided to go all in at that point on Acuna...not a good idea to go into debt on cards I know but I was convinced Acuna is a once in a generation five tool player after watching a lot of his 2017 minor league game videos. The ball just explodes off his bat and he has power to all fields...at the age of 19 back in 2017. Didn't have the capital to go after the big dollar 2017 Bowman Chrome autos but went after other stuff as much as possible last fall...and then this fall season rolled in with more Acuna cards...HHN, Update and Update Chrome...again, couldn't afford the big dollar parallels but bought what I can with what I had. Was not around for the Trout stuff or the Judge mania...but here's hoping next season Acuna will make Judge mania seem small lol. I hope he gets moved down to the 3 spot though so he can hit with more runners on base in front of him.

This. I think Acuna will be great if he avoids injury (looking into my crystal ball). Last year I had already started my PC of him when he hurt his knee, and I was freaking out for those couple days. I just want a healthy full season to see what he can do at only age 21.

Yeah...I download my purchases from Paypal monthly...this is my "Acuna" project lol. Good thing my wife has bought in so far that this Acuna kid is pretty good. Just don't get hurt!!!

I am pretty deep in Acuna chrome stuff. A mixture of purchases/trades/Facebook wins/etc.

About half purchased/traded for March 2018 or earlier. I sold a BGS 10 blue ref chrome auto when Acuna was hurt. Was pissed at myself for moving that and have slowly added since.

My current stash consists of:

9 base (1 BGS 10, 1 psa 10, 1 bgs min gem, 6 bgs true gems)
12 refs (1 bgs 10, 7 bgs min gems, 4 bgs true gems)
1 purple (true gem)
2 golds (both true gem)

Looking to trade for a Orange gem if anybody has one!

Ive only ever sold one Acuna card. A BGS 10 2017 Bowman Chrome Auto. Wish I still had it but I sold it for $750 and was very happy with that as I made $400 on it in a few months. Of course its a lot more valuable now.
