Ronnie has passed Soto for the lead of who is better. Ronnie, Soto or Tatis.

Ronnie is beginning to distance himself. Crazy how this changes so many times.

Agree with you there. I’ve always thought Ronnie was the most fun to watch though

Ronald has started doing a little Soto Shuffle on some of his takes this year, and I don't know why it bothers me. I keep trying to tell myself that it's because his stride is a little long and he's doing it to balance himself.

Pretty sure long term (hobby wise) it's either gonna be RAJ or Juanny. Tatis took himself out of the running.

RAJ is the electric one as we've all pretty much said since Day 1. The 5 tool guy. But Juanny could be the generational hitter/savant.

Hopefully they both do well (wouldn't even mind all 3 catching fire).

Ronnie already has 10 lead off hits this year. That’s to start the game not an inning. That’s nuts.

Acuna is on pace for 66 stolen bases this year.

That's great! But also puts Rickey's 130 in perspective.

Yes - that was insane. Acuna is running a ton and still at barely half of Rickey’s pace

Swinging at a lot of low pitches. Hard to elevate those.

I think 50 for him is well within reach this year. What about runs? Isn't he on pace for 150 or so runs scored?

18 runs in 18 games. Modern day record is 152 by Bagwell in 2000 (I would not have guessed that)

Is a 40-40 season within reach this year? Seems to not hit for power as much as he did before.

I think 40 homers for him just isn't in the cards

He easily has 40 SBs now with the bigger bases

He chases those low balls too much. Rolls over a lot. He just isn't getting any launch angle on his hits these days.

With the obvious caveats that its only 18 games in to the season, his current pace is 27HR and 63SB.
Its a little perplexing - in each of his first 4 years HRs exceeded SB, but now last year and so far this year SBs have outpaced HRs. Seems like it would be the opposite as players get older?

1st inning. Another lead off hit, another stolen base. Just another day.
