Let’s see one of your INVESTMENT Wax Boxes - I’ll start....

These 05-06 Hockey boxes are taking me back to when my shop was open and these were first released. From my recollection:
I can't remeber initial pricing on The Cup but we had it a month or 2.
SPA and SPX sold out (2 cases ea?) @ around $140-150/box but it took a month or 2
UD Ser 1 or 2 were a tough sale around $70-80 /box
Couldnt give UD MVP away
UD Ice as I recall we had for months around $100/box?

Dont get me started on hoops from 03-04

2005-06 is when I first started collecting. I couldn't tell you how many Series 2 blaster boxes I bought from Walmart. Never pulled a single Ovechkin young guns.

Yes some were live but unsure which skus.

Did you pull your purple in a blaster, mega, hobby, or jumbo?

Beautiful pickup!!! I really don’t know how some don’t see the value in these older boxes where certain signatures or still alive and not redemptions. Really can’t get into the newer wax knowing it will most likely always be readily available.

Where did you get the box cases? Only ones I see are from Titan but at a steep price.

I'm a big fan of 2004-05 baseball wax. It was the pinnacle of baseball with topps/fleer/donruss/Upper Deck all putting out their best products. And some of the products are EXTREMELY tough to find.

These are nice boxes. I was buying these boxes (2001 & 2004 boxes) and opening them up. Never hit the good autos other than one dual cut auto. In general, I wish I saved them unopened...
