In other dead-horses-you-continue-flogging news, your problem with Biden can't possibly be with his racism (as you see it), for if it were, you'd likewise be unable to support Trump, a man who constantly says racist things, on purpose, and never apologizes.

With that in mind, why bother at all?
Haha. Solid, predictable work, JD.

I get it that you might not be able to learn a lesson over a quarter century, but you should accept that others can and have, including Biden.

As for the press secretary job, nah, they'd probably make me wear a mask if I took the job, and, y'know, mah rights an' all thet...

Makes sense.
Trump doesn't do any actual work when he's not sick (other than on a bucket from KFC while watching FoxNews all day), so why would he suddenly start doing work now that he is?

He’s signing his Decision 2020 redemption cards.

Why did they have children when living paycheck to paycheck? Again it comes back to making smart decisions alongside hard work. I am supposed to pay 50% taxes because someone else can made poor decisions to have an iPhone and car payment for a new car or having children when they were not financially prepared to do so? No thanks.

This is oddly more comforting than if he were actually working.

If he wants to only stage photo-ops and record 2-minute mundane videos in isolation from now until January, I'm good with that.

How many dependents do you claim to pay 50% in taxes?

This goes to my point that I wish people would just simply say what they meant. Dog whistle racism at its finest. Also, where do you continually come up with this 50% in taxes number? Our top tax bracket isn't even near that level now, and unless you are making a million plus a year, which i doubt, you wouldn't pay that under any plan ever in the US.

Let’s get over the fallacy that all taxes pay is welfare.

Part of the American Dream is having a family.

Just don’t do it until you have enough money, which for some would be never.

Obviously I don't lol. Catch up man. Alverez stated the rich should absolutely pay up to 50% taxes to pay for poor impoverished people of this nation. I pointed out that system is already in place in many european countries and they would be glad to have him. All caught up now?

Exactly. Owning a house and a car or business is also part of the American dream. If you don't work hard and make smart choices you won't achieve the American dream. Pretty simple. Not every single human in the world is going to achieve that dream. But they have the absolute best chance of doing that here.

It really depends on the industry. Since we are discussing manufacturing I can share some insight on the auto industry, which I know.

Companies generally do not like to disclose their cost structures. However, most auto analysts agree that labour costs per final cost of a vehicle are around 10-15%.

The general belief is that no manufacturing company should have labour costs that exceed 30% of the final cost of a product, regardless of what they make.

While I agree that there are some products that consumer demand makes it financially impossible to compete with China, it is not absolute that Canada or America can't compete.

Learning all sorts of amazing stuff in here. Capitalism is great but you shouldn't spend money. You can easily live on 10 dollars an hour. Department managers at Walmart make 6 figures. Hard work guarantees financial success, and if you are struggling financially you are just lazy and need to work harder. Family HC doesn't cost 500-1000 dollars a month. Poor people shouldn't have kids!

It's quite difficult to become a citizen of a prospering European country unless....you have money to relocate.

Are you wealthy? If not, I don't see why you're so adamant about defending the interests of the 0.1%

Nice try. I personally know people of all colors that have way too many children while living paycheck to paycheck. My statements have nothing to do with race. We have trailer parks full of white families you could use as an example in my city along with brown and black neighborhoods with many folks that made the same choices. Absolutely nothing to do with race. In fact here in Nebraska I would venture to guess we have more poor white families than any other race.

In all seriousness, what tax bracket do you fall in, because the most brilliant thing the republican party has done since Reagan is get people that will never even be close to the tax brackets that would be impacted by democratic taxes on the rich and corporations to somehow fight for the uber rich.

Also, many people seem to have no clue how a progressive tax structure works. I once saw a guy argue that if he was making 1.5 million dollars a year and they raised a tax bracket on earnings over 1 million to 60% from say 40% but kept everything else the same, he would make sure he made less than 1 million to avoid paying more in taxes. It was truly one of the dumbest things I have ever seen, and I am wondering if you have the same misconception?

Just curious, if Trump's name calling is divisive, why do you do it? Like you constantly make nonsense posts that add no merit, but when trump does the same he's the bad orange man.
