Was looking at season win totals for college football and also checked out an article that was posted today. And there’s a handful of pretty solid logical bets to make. None of these are even odds, so some quick math can be done to figure out the break even point and how it then effects the chances of a team hitting that. Here’s my top 3 choices for each conference (it’s possible to push these bets too, giving the even game win totals a slight boost)
SEC- 1- Texas A&M Under 8.5 (+140) (will be standard 7-5/8-4 season at A&M) 2- Missouri Over 5 (-150) (this is about an 85% chance to win or push) 3- Ole Miss Over 8.5 (-135) (I think 9 is a solid win total for Miss this year) Big Ten- 1- Ohio State Under 11 (+110) (again, you’re looking at about an 85% chance to win or push this bet) 2- Indiana Under 4 (-125) (this has about an 80% chance to push/win. Can Indiana really go 5-7??) T3- Michigan St/Minnesota Over 7.5 (-125) (take your pick. Whichever team you like better. At least one will go 8-9 wins) Big 12- 1- Oklahoma Over 9.5 (+120) (I don’t think there’s anyway Oklahoma doesn’t hit double digit wins, 65-70% chance here) 2- Texas Under 8.5 (-130) (I think 7-5 is a VERY NICE projection for this team, can even see them getting a solid 8-4. No way they get 9 wins) 3- Kansas Over 2.5 (+110) (Kansas has a brutal schedule, but have an automatic win over TN Tech. They gotta be able to pick up 2 wins against Duke/Iowa State/TCU at home) ACC- 1- Clemson Under 10.5 (-150) (there’s virtually no way this team goes 11-1) 2- Wake Forest Over 7 (-105) (about a 75% chance you at least push) 3- Syracuse Over 4.5 (-110) (I really only like two of these bets in the acc, but the orange should go 5-7) PAC-12- 1- USC Under 9.5 (-120) (This will probably be the one I put the most units down on. USC plays Notre Dame and Utah, not to mention there’s always a bad loss lurking down the PAC-12 calendar for every team. With new coach and 5,000 transfers I think there’s no way USC hits 10-2) 2- Arizona State Over 6 (+110) (another bet that has about 85% chance to at least push, this team could definitely push USC in the standings) 3- Washington Under 7.5 (-105) (Another new coach from a non power 5 conference, U Dub might be lucky to push 6-6) Switching to two bets for Group of 5 conferences Mountain West- 1- Fresno State Over 9 (-110) (Maybe I’m bias cuz I grew up going to Bulldogs games, but this team looks poised to not only win more than 8 games, but probably win the MW Championship. Would not be surprised to see them run 11-1 and there’s at least an 80% chance this bet pushes) 2- Hawaii Over 3.5 (+110) (Hawaii should have 3 wins locked on their schedule. Just takes one solid game/win for the bet to win) AAC- 1- SMU over 7 (-115) (A team I like better than UCF that only has notch a 7-5 record for the bet to push. Dark horse for double digit wins) 2- UCF Under 9.5 (-140) (some models only have UCF at 20% chance to hit 9 wins. 10 wins should be near impossible, I have them at 8-4) Sun Belt- 1- Troy Under 6.5 (-115) (7wins seems VERY far fetched for this team. sun belt is gonna beat up on each other.) 2- James Madison Under 6.5 (-165) (if you can find this bet, it’s a lot of juice to pay out- but James Madison is even LESS likely than Troy to hit 7 wins) Conference USA- 1- Rice Over 2.5 (-115) (I pretty much always bet teams that are 2.0 or 2.5s. I think Rice comfortable wins 3, and probably 4) 2- Western Kentucky Over 8 (+110) (I think WKU will tap out at 9 wins, so I’ll take the 8 win floor push with the extra juice at 110) MAC- 1- Central Michigan Under 7.5 (-115) (they face Oklahoma St and Penn St on the road, meaning they gotta go 8-2 against the rest of their schedule to hit the over) 2- Ball State Over 4.5 (-135) (Ball state is going bowl eligible this season, gimme that 4.5) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Was a good day so far for big dogs- Washington St ML, App St +18, Texas +21.5 and Marshall +21 all helped to cover bad losses with Pitt +6 and Iowa -3.5. Heard those telltale rumors of a buddy who has a buddy who has a coworker who bet a bill on an App St, Marshall money line parlay but I won’t believe that til I see the ticket.
If you wanna watch a game tonight with solid offenses and ~should be close and exciting- My local Oregon State Beavers head to my hometown to take on the Fresno State Bulldogs. Really like Michigan -17 at home against Maryland on Saturday.
Harbaugh has never beat Maryland by less than 21 points. Maryland averaging 90 penalty yards a game this season. I don't think they're gonna hang. May be a little bias... Go Blue!

Got this in my email this morning. Ive been down on Russ since he signed with Denver, so I went back to check how much money him and his followers lost on Russ tonight. I can’t believe the dude hit all but one of those props on russ after such a terrible game. Insane picks- this dude also predicted the ~day that judge hit 60, 61, and 62 homers only once and it hit each time.
He also hit like a 3 team ML upset parlay in college football in one of the first weeks that paid like $56,000 on his $200. He’s definitely from the future and now that sports betting is becoming legal Everywhere we’re gonna see a lot more of these guys jumping back here and cashing insane tickets!
