I was just commenting on the fact that the winner looked legit, but the bidder that pushed it over $4500 was low feedback and 31% of his bids were with that seller. It looks suspicious, but could be totally legit.

Either way the buyer got a great (grail) card at a decent price. He would have saved $700+ if the sus bidder didn't bid at all.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, to me this one could go either way based on what you're saying. One thing I always think about is that there could have been someone else that would have bid too if the top 2 hadn't pushed it that high. I know there are plenty of cards that I see above where I'm willing to go, and I bow out. If they were lower I'd bid. In those instances if a shill is involved then they weren't needed.

What's the current HR pace? I knew he hadn't hit many in July but I didn't realize he's only hit 3 homers this month.

Not liking how Freeman has great stats day after day.. we need him to slow down lol
he never slumps.

Odds for MVP are -400 Acuna and Plus 400 for Freeman

In my opinion it´s closer than it seems.... more like a -200 and a plus 200

Or am I wrong?

Only real difference is Stolen bases... how much weight does that have?

Say if Acuna falls to .300 and Freeman stays at .330 and everything else Freeman is higher by a bit.. who wins?

Freeman has overtaken a lot of offensive categories and has been flat out consistent for a very long time. Don’t think the stolen bases will make or break MVP but OPS, OBP, average, RBI and homeruns might. Besides that Freeman is creeping up on both WAR leaderboards which means the trend is certainly changing. There are still 50+ games left so a lot of things can happen.

Ron a bit more upset about that pickoff. Not his first, but almost started a tantrum. One Braves guy in the dugout sure looked like he was thinking what’s his problem? Entitled for being on base lol

It worked. I was hoping I would question his lack of homers and boom…a jack the very next game!

The most impressive thing about this season is the low strikeout rate.

The 56ks is a very, very strong stat. On pace for low 80s?

It's funny how much the game has changed and what is considered a low K total. DiMaggio one year struck out only 13 times LOL. Obviously a very different hitting mentality now among power hitters.
