My LCS has it for $210 taxes in.
Not bad.

Watched a few jumbo opened.
Some ok color. Lot of pitcher autos.

Was just in a jumbo case break myself and it was pretty brutal. 98% pitchers, no big rookies. They did pull a Soto '86 auto which was the best of the case.

Got two jumbo hobbies and ripped one, got a red wave signature of Zach Mckinstry lol. Also got a Posey Captain patch green which made my day. Some good RCs will need to assess later.

After watching some hobby breaks, I decided to order 6 blasters off of the Topps site. Looks pretty brutal, maybe I'll get lucky and pull an auto or two anyways.

Got one blaster on eBay yesterday, and one from Topps today. With taxes/shipping factored in, eBay was basically the same price as Topps. Weird/depressing.

What do we think print run is on kelenic ssp?

any guesses where price settles after we get past the first copy or two tax?

Managed to get Pirates in a random team case break. Wound up with two Will Craig autos and a bunch of Hayes base.

don’t worry you’ll get them from target with 5% discount and free shipping. they won’t be hard to get after the first week, and honestly the first week probably won’t be hard either.

Man I had to have called every lcs in a 50 mile radius, cheapest was 275 for hobby so far. Yeesh

got 2 blasters this morning at wally world

the $32.50 after taxes is just............rough, it really is, especially for a rookie class thats so average at best

did hit fairly decent sepia refs in tatis jr and pache RC, and a Tristan mcKenzie refractor RC, a william contreras ref and prism ref

just one color, jose abreu purple /250 pfffffffffffft

honestly not sure ill buy any more, atleast not in a large quantity if found, maybe one blaster a week at most as long as its available

i do like that the cardstock seems to have changed just like it is for Merlin and Topps Chrome soccer, so the refractors definitely pop more than they ever have before IMO

I bought 4 hobby packs from a fresh box today….Gold Wave /50 Sam Huff RC and Luis Basabe auto, so I stopped there. Pretty good return for $36. Another guy had already pulled an Orange /25 KeBryan Auto from his box.

10 dollar difference made the difference between buying large quantities and a box or no box?

If there was even a Luis Robert to chase I’d buy a lot more at $30 then I will now. Next year with Wander I’ll be happy to pay $30, but with this checklist I’ll buy a couple here and there but I left 10 sitting on the shelf today at Wally that I would have bought for $20.

They’ll still sell so no problem for Topps they just won’t fly off the shelf as fast as last year, which might not be a bad thing.

Wow, LCS must not be paying people to buy the blasters for them.

I feel like the higher prices will return things to normalcy

I was surprised they were there, the gals at customer service told me the stock was yesterday. All the Select was gone so these had been there for almost 24 hours with no limit.

Yes. Considering historically topps chrome blasters arent the best rips

If i saw 20 on shelf. Im not spending $675 after taxes compared to $460 before. ROI just doesnt justify it. Its not like prizm optic or select nba where even lower tier silver is a $10 card
