Minny played great and Randle was surprisingly a beast at times.

Ant has really impressed also with his playmaking coming a long way.

Minny vs GS/Hou next. Another solid series.

Playoffs have arrived now that the waste has been cut.
why you such a lebron hater? touch the bear where he hurt you

Maybe I should post this in the loser thread but still seems relevant maybe. Crazy to think that Luka the traded too fat man made the finals last year and beat Minnesota. But now out in the first round with home court.

I guess his supporting cast was worse. 4-1 wow. That’s awful.

He's growing on me. Dude still needs to wear rubbers, but damn he's fun. His game is going to another level when he can shoot so poorly and still help his team.

I have my reasons.

Sorry, I save all of my touching for your Mom.

Quite the fall.

We'll need to see how far Minny go to know just how catastrophic that loss was.

The Lakers were right there in every game. Minny just played a bit harder and attacked the Lakers weaker defenders.

Cough cough. Luka and LeBron

Crazy how many people are putting the blame on Luka. He was literally in the Finals less than a year ago. Yes, his defense needs to be better, but he was the best Laker this series.

He averaged 30/7/6. What are people talking about "what's Luka's excuse?"

His production is negated by his defense or lack thereof

T-Wolves looked mighty impressive!

But that's the game they play, LBJ loses, they will find a scapegoat/s.

Luka trade was never about winning it this year, its post LBJ move.

Have to wonder though, when will he retire? If he is going to stick around then he should play drastically less minutes and take a pay cut for the betterment of the team. But that was quite obvious a couple years ago!

They don't appear to have the greatest comradery, Luka and Lebron.

I’ve got 5K that he retires in a couple of weeks, then unretires close to camp.

You know his ego won’t let him go out without a retirement circus in every city he goes to next season. Teams will be required to gift the “King” with extravagant valuables from the city elites.

And LeBron averaged 25/9/6/2/2, shot a higher FG % and better from 3. Had 7 fewer turnovers and 8 fewer fouls committed. Yes, LeBron had just as good, if not a better series, than Luka. At age 40.

Go ahead and blame terrible roster construction on the loss.... but MJ stans using this performance to take shots at LeBron....

While conveniently forgetting that MJ was an absolute puss bag by age 39, is rich.

Regardless... this is the last bit of talk that belongs in the post season thread regarding Luka and LeBron.... please move all conversation on the matter to it's proper thread: https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=1610329

We can end it with as biased as I am against Lebron, you are biased for Lebron. Multiple games were within one possession at the end and he didn't show up. And I do admit Lebron at age 40 is better than Jordan at age 40. Their rosters aren't close to the same though so more is expected from the Lakers than those Wizards teams.

Agree with you though that the post-season thread should be for teams that are left in the post-season. I'm hoping for home teams to win tonight so we get some awesome game 7s!

lol, the argument for MJ was never about longevity but about peak, Lechoke continues to choke in the playoff. 2-12 on playoff series since 2020. Might be time to hang it up

Lexcuses, Lexcuses, Lexcuses.

“He’s one of the best players in the NBA.” “Look at his age.” “He’s the only reason they made the playoffs.”

But it’s not his fault they lost.

Didn’t you say it’s Luka’s team when the trade happened and when they inevitably lose you will not say anything?

Pretty sure no one said any of those things.

Of course it’s Luka’s fault.

I’m just pointing out the continued contradictions of the Bron bois here.

They are also blaming Luka as well, as expected.

I also never saw MJ quit. I still remember lebron giving up while with the cavs back when he had shaq in bos. Lebron is the most physically gifted player I've ever seen, but he doesn't have the compulsive drive MJ had. Now that might be better for him in the long term as MJ clearly has compulsive gambling issues.

Not only that, MJ never needed to do that. Had LeBron come before him, he would have more seasons and longer.

Also, there are almost no MJ stans going at LeBron. It's pretty much just LeBron haters.

Thank god the Lakers got eliminated because hopefully after today all you idiots will find something different to talk about.

The LeBron and Luka talk is just nauseating. Lakers sucked, they got beat by a better team. Let's talk about things that are more interesting

Wait, you can’t be a Jordan stan and a LeBron hater simultaneously?

Pointing out that LeBron is such a great player at the age of 40 right after his team just got gentlemen swept is awful timing. Accept the loss and just move on.
