Correct, then he (Skubal) walked it back saying he might make another but decided against it.

I don't want Cal to play tonight because he has clearly sucked against the best pitchers the world has to offer in this tournament and I want the USA to win. Hence I want De Rosa to play the better catch right now which is Will Smith. Same with I'd rather him play Gunnar Henderson instead of Bregman.

And for all the crap you've been claiming I've said, there was a post I made at the very beginning of the tournament where I hoped Judge and Cal would go back to back off Ohtani in the WBC Finale to tie and win it for Team USA in the 9th. I wonder why I would have said that if it was rooting against Cal and Team USA.

Will it hurt or help Venezuela playing back to back games. I don’t think it will but I am hoping for a good exciting game.

Venezuela threw 7 pitchers last night. USA has a rested bullpen.

I just don't get it with these orgs, man. They'll have over a week to rest and get ready. Who cares.

I totally understand a pitch count per appearance, but 20 pitches and then a rest day should be fine.

Not wrong, but then those aren't true fans in my eyes. I love baseball. I love watching the best be the best. Judge had elbow problems last year but that's the last thing I'm thinking about when he's hosing Tatis at 3rd.

Also, Yankees front office doesn't listen to the fans anyway. That's a good and bad thing.

Nah he figures if he wears the jersey of a team that chokes more than him it will bring out his inner clutch mode, plus Toronto was the team he hit that clutch 3 run homer off the foul pole.
