Morey won’t let Harden go anywhere else. So he will get the max.

Yep.

Harden opts-in for next season, gets healthy and see how it goes.

Glenn is definitely gone. Philly got a nice squad, the right coach can elevate that team tbh.

Harden for Ben Simmons looking like it may end up being the good 'ol lose-lose trade

Harden is happy now can spend his days and nights in strip clubs no basketball to worry about for few months.

Who would have thought that Curry will be the most valuable piece in that trade. Or at least possibly the most productive.

It's going to be a spicy offseason in Philly, can't wait to see what unfolds. You have to figure Doc is out though that's not much of a loss. He has ridden that Celtics title season to what seems like a lifetime of opportunity. At some point, you would think the league would realize he's not a very good coach. Anyone Philly brings in would likely be an upgrade.

The Harden thing is fascinating, trouble for Philly is they are pot committed. With what they gave up to get him they almost have to bring him back but I would want nothing to do with a long-term contract with him. He looks washed and has no apparent motivation to get back to what he was. His quickness and ability to beat guys off the dribble is gone which he needs to be successful. He was never going to age well but this has been a drastic decline. He's a 15-20 million a year guy who is going to command 3 times that. Does Philly balk and just let him walk? That's likely the better option. Good news for Harden, with the early exit he gets a jump start on surveying the strip club scene.

I didn’t watch the game but how does Harden only take 9 shots in a must win playoff game? There were no winners in the trade only losers. It’s funny how many NBA media I heard saying Sixers were going to the finals after the last game haha

Does anyone still think harden is an all timer because per or something else on paper that blind them to every postseason?

Booker may be the best player on either team.

He would be a fool to do so. Harden's best days are behind him not worth giving him $270 million over the next 5 years when he will be 38 years old at the end hard pass.

You save over $50 million by letting him walk after next season by getting out of the Simmons contract. That alone is worth the trade.

Plus With Harden on a expiring contract you likely can move him and get picks to rebuild with instead of investing in a player that's clearly breaking down.

He will easily make the HOF based on the numbers. I don't consider him a "winning" player. Same bucket as somebody like Westbrook. Trae and Luka need to be careful of not following this path as well. Extremely high usage guys who put up stats but don't really make the offense flow. Luka and Trae are still young and can improve their game to push past it like LeBron did.

Morey's not going to rush to making a decision on Harden. He's seen the historical data on how poorly plump guards age. He'll give him next year to re-prove himself and then make a decision.

His number 1 focus will be what it's always been since arriving in Philly: trying to trade Tobias Harris.

I'd be surprised if Doc goes anywhere, unless Josh Harris really wants him gone.

Man, they need to get rid of Tobias Harris as well..

$36 Million for that 14 piece he dropped tonight.

One of the many errors in this process.
