As someone who doesn't work Monday's and works early Tuesday mornings I'm so excited for this.

Enjoyable Raw. Cena promo was fantastic. Stuff with Cody was good too.

there is no question Bron Breakerrs future is bright, but my god what a forgettable IC title run its been

no real memorable feuds, just a bunch of nonsense, and many times during holidays and even after wasnt even on RAW.

his match today with Finn was fine, and now just blown right through just to get to Penta. Another face vs face scenario. I dunno, Brons not horrifically bad on the mic but him dropping title and moving on to main event scene with Paul Heyman as his side seems like the way to go..........which leads me to............

hear me out

Bron defends IC title in a fatal four way or one on one with Penta night 1, drops it to Penta and on same night interferes ON BEHALF of Heyman and helps Punk win that match over Seth and Roman. This leads to Punk going after Cena and Roman/Bron

in regards to Cena

it will be interesting to see how long this version of him lasts. Does it go all the way to the end of the year?

I don't think Penta is winning the IC title as soon as Fenix comes in they will start tagging and go for the tag titles.

I can see him beat Cody at WM. He losses title at SummerSlam. He has a couple matches trying to get it back at SurviorSeries he fails again and Rock berates him for failing him. Cena nails the rock and becomes a good guy for one last match vs Rock at the December PPV.

So Cena's reason for beating Cody's face in was because the fans were mean to him ? and to that point you finally have a chance to get your hands on the guy that beat your face in and embarrassed you in front of the world and you are going to calmly walk to the ring and have an ordinary conversation then leave ?

Don't get me wrong it was a great promo but it made no sense from a real life standpoint. And as predicted at the end of the day didn't really move the needle forward from a storyline point of view.

I'm not emotionally invested in this story at all.

I thought the Cena promo was good, but, it was hard not to laugh when he's berating people for "never doing anything for him" and he's pointing out people who just spent $40+ on his shirt... And the hat.... And the arm bands...

That merch revenue made you a multi-millionaire Johnny Boy... You're welcome

Totally agree with your take on Bron's reign. It's been horrendous. He'll be fine and his future is extremely bright, but the reign itself is awful. It's been booked as a massive afterthought.

Jey showed in his match vs Theory he does not belong in the main event at WM. Super short match and he botched twice. First the botch going over the ropes and second his strange crossbody block that should have been a spear.

Everyone loves doing his YEET entrance but that's all he's got. His match should be first match at night 1 of WM and he should lose but he's more likely to get the Kofi treatment and win. But after that he will probably get the same Kofi treatment and a month or two later drop the title and go back to being a midcard and tag team guy. Though I have to say it does not help Gunter at all dropping the title.

The fact that most of Gunther/Usos segments dont open or close these shows speaks volumes. And i do like both and i think Gunther is a terrific heel, but at this point id be shocked if it didnt open Night 1, and honestly at this point it wouldnt surprise me if Gunther retains

Kofi held the title for like 6 months.....

I know this is a popular take with some of you, but your tears will be so sweet.

Jey will get it, they'll need to balance things out probably with Cody dropping belt to Cena

If he losses the match all the Jey fans who thinks he's so great with his one catchphrase will be like But But Yeet?

WWE right now is in the catchphrase era. It seems you have to have some kind of catchphrase or entrance gimmick to get over.

I might be alone, but I actually feel that both Gunther and Rhodes will retain their titles at WM.

Feel that it'd be better for Jey to chase a top-tier belt just a little longer, and Cena winning #17 as a face (even though winning as a heel will be fresh - none of his previous title wins, US title included, were archeived as a heel).

I even wonder if Cena's #17 will be for the new-WHC belt instead, so that he can give it some credibility, as I feel that it is inferior to Rhodes' belt (despite Rollin's hard work trying to put it on the map), and someone with Cena's caliber holding it should hopefully add some prestige.

I think Cena wins but can see Jey lose. I don't think both champs retain nor both lose there titles.

WWE right now is in the catchphrase era. It seems you have to have some kind of catchphrase or entrance gimmick to get over.
The 'he's just a catchphrase' people are so obtuse. If it's just a catchphrase and people just like to interact with him, surely anyone could do the same thing and be just as over, no? I've asked this multiple times to people on here and never get an answer (because the answer is obvious).

Like him or not, Jey has an aura. He has the 'IT' factor. You aren't a top 3 merch mover for well over a year getting some of the best reactions simply because people like to interact with what you do.

With logic like your own, you could take let's say.....Grayson Waller and he'd be just as over doing everything Jey does, right?

Jey has a "dance" and a word. That's all I see in him. He's not great on the mic, nor in the ring. I don't see any "it factor" in him. It's a made up word and is a novelty. Eventually it will fade.

But with that said, the fans want him to win the title. He probably will.

And just like his IC title reign, it'll be brief. Then he'll go back to the midcard alongside Priest and Drew.

Daniel Bryan's biggest moments of his career was because of a word and an arm gesture. Who cares?

Again, all of you in the 'it's a word and crowd interaction' people, if it that was that easy EVERY wrestler could do it and be as over, right? None of you will answer because you all know that's not the case.

Bryan was the perpetual underdog that was constantly held down by the Authority. That accounted for most of his popularity in WWE.

TNA even tried copying his success with Eric Young.
