I am def leaning in that direction! Thinking whole set of 20 companions, launched after card 400 is done, and sell them as a complete set in the $200 range.

Forget companion cards, design a custom frame for all 20!

That would be awesome - I'll be in for at least 2 sets

I received a package from Topps today, and my first thought was "WTF, I thought I was done with this crap!"

Oh, if Blake designed a custom frame for his 20-card set that would be awesome!

Its an easy way for each artist to further monetize this after its over. Custom display cases.

yes, that would be sweet! Price point being a factor, but I’d definitely be interested in cases for the 7 artists I’m collecting.

Edit- Ermsy isn’t one of those 7, but how insane would THAT be?

If he wanted to keep the price down, both for materials and shipping, he could just custom design the matting for the set (either 20 cards, 20 companions, or all 40 cards and companions) and ship the matting between rigid cardboard like you would any art piece that cannot be tubed.

Then as long as we had measurements, we could order framing supplies independently, or he could work out a deal with one of the framing companies so he gets a commission or something and we just get linked straight to the dimensions needed without any of the hassle of shipping 100+ framed items.

Taylor's Mariano is my favorite of Mo so far. Looking forward to seeing if it looks good in hand.

I personally would prefer a Jamieson companion card set to a Jamieson custom frame.

Much, much, much prefer.

And a 20-card set in the $200 range would make you a hero, Mr. Jamieson!

Finally, a Mo I might buy. No offense to anyone who's already done Mo, but the original card SUCKS.

If they all pick brown in hopes that it is the lowest number just tells me that they are more concerned with resale value and not the true collectability of this artist. It seems to me that one would pick the best looking color based on their own thoughts and ideas and how it pairs with the card in question instead of trying to guess which color will have the lowest print run.

Yes. If I was dropping money on this card I'd choose what I think would look best.

Received my Blake Jamieson artist autographed Trout cards today. They are really nice!
When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.

Can't wait to get his Griffey I ordered from Wheeler! Best Griffey by far.

Blake's Henderson is my favorite though.
