Would take anything Meltzer says with a grain of salt. After all the times he's lied why would anyone actually believe him?

I'm pretty sure the Rock showing up at the request of TKO to drive sales and them coming up with the "I want your soul" storyline that Rock flat out said he had no intention of actually finishing the story and ignoring the whole Rock/Cena/Scott group made it very clear that HHH doesn't have final say.

Of course he has the final say...but its not "his choice" to make cuts..

It's been confirmed by various outlets before when cuts are made...TKO presents him with a "list", and he narrows it down or gives final say on who to let go until whatever criteria is met (ie shedding certain amount of payroll etc)

She went on maternity leave for her 2nd child in April of last year...so, they honored her contract and technically didn't fire her...but still kinda sketch lol

I'm expecting to see a Finn/Roxanne v Dom/Liv match sometime soon.

The Rollins faction is just not getting over for me. Plus, how they have Reed join with no explanation just doesn't work (besides the lack of chemistry between everyone)

Yep, they did. I'm not really sure where this would go if it became a 'hijack' situation. Nobody was complaining when all he was doing was a short backstage segment if he was on the show at all, so what do the fans chanting want? Him to just have a job? They didn't care if he was or wasn't on the show.

They want his funny backstage segments. I know I always smile when I see them.

He's been a mainstay because of his humor, no matter if it's in the ring or backstage. Silly or not, he's always entertaining.

Sure, I agree with what you're saying. Hopefully you can see the confusion I'm having on fans potentially ending up hijacking a show chanting for a guy that if he wasn't on the show nobody was outraged or mad about.

Only reason the R-Truth chants happened was not because they cared about him. The fans just thought they could be smart and try to hijack the show and make the show about them.

While truth brought a funny comedy part he really brought nothing beyond. The show is not going to be effected without his 30 second comedy bit.

Also see a lot of the CM Crybaby fans saying they won't watch MITB now because Punk not in it. Punk is one of the top guys who does not need the case. If you want to put him in the title picture it's way easy enough to do without it. Same goes for Rollins. I can see were Punk screws him out of winning. Having one of the other 5 guys win and carry around the MITB for a while does nothing but help push them out of the midcard status for a while.

I do believe that people actually care about R-Truth, but not at the level they've shown, especially on socials. It's complete engagement farming, clearly phony, and just another tool to hate on Triple H and TKO because hate content gets clicks.

Don't worry though, TNA has apparently already reached out to R-Truth. He can sign there and then WWE can keep using him for cheaper than keeping him on payroll as enhancement talent.
