This, pretty much.

I'm not afraid of liberals. While I disagree with much of their agenda, I don't think they'll run our country into the ground.

Trump could do some long-term damage to the fundamentals of our government. He scares me more. (Note to conservatives: I said "could", not "would.")

There's a reason they were released and it wasn't because Trump was going to release them anyway whether Zelensky complied with his request or not. They were released because the extortion was about to become more widely known.

This wasn't a he said, she said. There were a number of career officials who testified to the veracity of the details and the timeline.
Yeah. I'm going back to the agree to disagree stance.

Funds are held up routinely for many reasons, many of which have nothing to do with the President. Your speculation about why they were released when they were is unproven. Moreover, I see that as largely irrelevant anyway.

Trump is a douche. Im with you there, 100%. But impeachment served no nonpolitical purpose. It was gamesmanship.

The senate had heard the facts of the case prior to the impeachment trial. We all had.

Impeachment was 100% a waste of time. The looming presence of an inhospitable jury must always stop any indictment.

Trump's crimes are non-existent. We are innocent until proven otherwise in this country. The accusations are forever on the record. But...so what? They already were.

Apparently we may be best served by agreeing to disagree. I'm in if you are.

The fact that the money was released after a whistleblower spoke, after Bolton and other career intelligence officials were uncomfortable and after an investigation started into why ot was being held is troubling.

There's fact and there's opinion.

But this is where we are today...we have two different realities.

Yes. There's fact and there's opinion.

One fact is that Zelensky testified after the money had been released. His testimony included stating he did not feel pressured.

I don't believe you are a conservative. You can play all you want, but by not voting Trump you are for socialism. Your choice on who you vote.

Socialism: a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

a transitional social state between the overthrow of capitalism and the realization of Communism.

You seriously believe this is what democrats are advocating?

Voting for Trump is a vote for socialism. Maybe not as much, but close enough.

Frankly, it just doesn't scare me at all.

I'm at a 1, and have pretty much been at a 1-2 the entire time. I am far more worried about the overreaction, fear, new changes and their lasting effects far more than I am of the Corona Virus.

If you're in good health you have nothing to worry about, I never understood how so much fear came from it. This year has definitely opened my eyes to just how gullible and easily controlled people can be.

Its like a large number of people being terrified of water (covid) because a bunch of people drowned who didn't know how to swim (poor health). Instead of doing the common sense thing and learning how to swim (improve life style) , you sit afraid in your home trying to figure out how to get rid of water/avoid it, instead of solving the real issue (our terrible diets/life styles).

Trump has spent more then I would like, but Democrats are all in on green new deal which would double our debt on a single bill. So yeahhhh I disagree with you. Democrats are for socialism not Trump.

I will give Trump credit for getting us out of foreign conflicts. Now we just need to cut military spending in half and get the debt under control.

What percent of your taxes go to what you consider handouts?

Packing the court is bad. Real bad. I posted my disapproval of this earlier, stating it matters a lot to me and could in fact decide my vote.

Handouts suck too, but they're happening every day. I've survived democrats from Carter all the way to Obama giving handouts. No biggie.

The Green New Deal isn't something I'm particularly well versed on. I can't speak intelligently about it.

Overall, I doubt the world will end either way. The biggest threat in my mind is a packed court.
