Full, or nearly full "W" is usually the standard on the front (left/right), and a small gap on the bottom between the blue swoop and the bottom edge (top/bottom). The back is easier to gauge with the font (left/right) and the box for stats (top/bottom).

I've sent in a ton of these and I don't even factor in centering at all. Same with the other Updates big names.

This too. If you got in early, 9's and even 8's are still profitable.

I doubt (with the amount of subs they get) they focus on centering on these not border cards. Most of them are centered - I've seen one or two that were off-center/miscut and I can tell because the topps logo is too far to the left and it's obvious.

The Topps logo is the last thing you need to use to gauge centering on these. Since it's stamped on, the position can vary a good bit. I've seen one nearly off the top of the card, but the card itself was nicely centered.

??? I'm pretty sure the foil logo is all stamped on before the cards are cut --- do you have a pic to prove your point? Not disagreeing, but it doesn't sound correct to me.

I would assume they are stamped before cut, but that doesn't mean the stamp goes in the exact same place on every card.

Wow you're spot on - looking at Johnny's psa10s the stamps are a bit off (im being over the top nitpicky but hey this is our disccusion). Thanks for letting me know this.

I agree completely, but I was just pointing out that the foil stamp should never be used to judge a card's centering. 2018 or any year.

Yeah, those Color Blast inserts are beautiful cards. I know they are pretty rare, but I don't know the ratio that they fall at in packs or boxes. Very cool card!
