Pretty sure that was the magazine ad for 98-99 NBA Hoops.

Absolutely hilarious. Haven't seen it in 20 years, forgot it even existed.

Was also around the time those "hip hop goggles" were popular.

Dope yellow gogz, bruh.

Like Duron said, it is an old SkyBox ad from Beckett (2000-ish). Not much else going on there except some text in the bottom left corner; "Deal with it". ...and yeah, Hoops cards.

You need to post more of those nutty ads if you have any.

I literally lol'ed when I saw that Hoops one, I can't believe I forgot it existed.

Great stuff on this page, I LOVE those Durant cards and it's great to see him find success in his career AWAY from that loser team he used to play on. (Hint: NOT Seattle)

Also love the KG cards and the refractors up there too.

Just a clean, simple card. Love the stitching and it looks awesome in hand

I really need to get myself some of the NT stuff of Leaf and Anigbogu. There's a Leaf RPA that I'm eyeballing but can't pull the trigger for some reason.

I did get this in today. Only paid $5.50 dlvd for it. I've got an Anigbogu on the way to match it too.

Sweet refractors / prizms across the board, that Electrifying is an excellent add. The Sumner "scan" looks amazing.

^^^ That's an absolute steal. Those Select prizms blow the Prizm prizms out of the water IMO.

I agree, while I kinda' like the Prizm design, the Select and that golden hue that you managed in the photo are next level.

I got a couple things in today from COMC, and several things that I've gotten in the past couple weeks that I just haven't posted yet. First up is a card that has been sitting in my COMC account for a few months and I just finally had shipped. I sort of gave up on this set chase because I got really bored with it. I might try to find a few more or I might try to sell off what I have, which is 18/50 cards in the set. Can't really decide right now.

2016-17 Panini National Treasures Treasured Threads Prime #39 Dwight Howard /25 by SMosley21x, on Flickr

Then I got these 2. The Sumner only cost me $5 dlvd and the Anigbogu ran me around $17 dlvd. They're sticker autos but I really like the design and the Pacers themed color scheme. There are also Reggie Miller and Stephen Jackson cards in the set so I might snag those eventually as well.

2017-18 Donruss Optic Signature Series Blue #10 Ike Anigbogu /25 by SMosley21x, on Flickr

And then there's this little project I started quietly working on. It started as just trying to complete the Pacers team set of this year's Select Tie Dye Prizms and then I started picking up a few of the other low-numbered parallels from Select as well. I'm not going to try to put together the team sets of the other parallels but if I see any players I don't have going for really cheap I'll probably pick them up.

2017-18 Select Prizms Gold #229 Darren Collison /10 by SMosley21x, on Flickr

The only tie dye I still need is the Bojan Bogdanovic, which is the die-cut style. There's one on COMC but I'm going to try to find one cheaper.

Damn you're crushing it. 93 Jam City and 94 Rejectors are 2 of my favorite sets.

Dying to find a Shaq Jam City for a decent price.

Man I swear, every time I see a sweet pic of a 90s refractor it motivates me to keep going on that one-of-every-90s-refractor PC chase...til I look at all the rare/expensive ones I still need to find LOL.

Thanks! Local LCS owner had a couple stacks of cards waiting for me to look thru. All refractors. Will have to go back soon.
Had some more cards that came in the mail today. Will try and scan later tonight. Nothing huge but some fun cards from a deal here on BO.

I left some 90s refractors behind at the LCS. Might warrant another trip after work Monday. Pippen, Shaq, Reggie Miller, Vince Carter etc all calling me back.

Those Pacers SELECT cards are excellent, so much color exploding from them, great stuff.

papaperk also with some amazing additions, I remember when those Jam City cards were considered high end stuff, same for the Skybox Meltdown cards, memory lane over here. I miss the old days.

I just wanted to share this card real quick and give a BIG THANK YOU to buckunteer, who sent both this card and a Yinka Dare Topps Spectralight card to me. This card however, was previously thought to not exist, so it's a major find for the Yinka Dare Master Collection. Talk about discovering treasure. Most guys won't really card about this one, but it's high magnitude for me:

Nice Yinka!! That man won me a contest on here last year that netted me an insane Aaron Gordon Flawless RC patch /15.

I got a card in today that I was starting to get nervous about actually receiving. It didn't take super long to get delivered but it was a little longer than usual for a card within the US and there was no tracking uploaded by the seller so I started getting nervous. This is one of the nicer RPA designs from Panini's 2017-18 releases, IMO. Got it for just under the poverty line once shipping was factored in.

Only 3 days of inactivity and this thread dropped back to the 3rd page of the basketball hobby talk forum. Crazy.

Anyway, I got a few small things in today. 3 separate purchases and paid a total of $20.98 ($9.99 of that was shipping). I wanted to pick up a couple McBuckets cards but didn't want anything that had him featured in an NBA uni that wasn't for the Pacers. Pickings are slim in that regard, but I found 2 that I really like.

Watched him and Harrison Barnes play on the same team in high school. Seems like a real good guy. Hope he does well for ya in Indy.
