Correct.
Yes. But your vote constitutes a future purchase if your pick wins.

Anyone that thinks TN is dying is horribly mistaken. Like it or not, it's thriving like an MFer!

Have to call Topps tomorrow...
My votes all show as "PENDING" in the MOMENT OF THE WEEK tab at my account.

Probably due to deleting some saved credit card infos and updating one with new validity date, after I made the votes.
Had to do this as I've been using PayPal to pay, and didn't really care about the saved CC info being old, till now...

Read the downloadable PDF, a vote is a purchase unless the card you voted for does not win. They put a hold on your credit card for purchase amount and only charge if that card wins. . This program is not compatible with pay pal.

Well if that's the case then I wont be voting for every card just to have a hold put on my account for 5 different cards and only one become a viable purchase. Hopefully this gets fixed.

If you talk to Topps please post here what they say. I don’t use PayPal for my direct purchases so I have a CC on file. I voted and mine says pending.

I show voted (in green) on the voting page and pending on the page I reach on my account dashboard.

It's pretty simple, a vote is a pre order for a product that may not exist.
Topps gets to only produce the one with the most demand and ignore the rest. If you voted (pre ordered) all of them all your orders will be cancelled but the winner.
Good for Topps
Bad for small print runs.....unless almost no one participates.

Tony Gwynn’s career strikeouts for a 20 year career were like 438.

They will have this fixed tomorrow so you can vote as many times as you want.

If they dont then it give you a really good estimate of how many active accounts there are....

I just didn't want to "vote" for 1 card at $8 if there was going to be an option to buy 20 for $80. Let's go one per person!
I agree, I like this concept!

as its is right now

you can vote 1 time for each card.

each vote will put a hold for $7.99 on your cc.

So if you vote for each card you will have 5 holds for 7.99 on your cc. Only 1 of those will actually be processed, but you are going to tie up $39.95 on your cc.

If/when they fix this to allow multiple votes per card its still going to put an immediate hold for $7.99 for each vote on your cc. So if you vote for the winning card 10 times you are going to get 10 charges for $7.99 on your cc.

How do you mean bad for small print runs? These will be a SP variety of the card that sells...

1000 votes for Ohtani makes for a nice SP. when the regular card sells 9000

466 was the highest COTM print run.

Looking at 500-1000 print run. Possibly a 500-750 print run

They were supposed to be able to give you quantity vote options to buy...I'm mean vote with your wallet as much as you cared to. With Al the flippers and buyers clubs wanting them with the winners foil varient, the print run will be huge....might even be few left during the week buying the non foil version making those rarer.

If they limit it to one vote/ purchase per account that will be good for collectors.

Are they going to change it tomorrow, to where you can make the quantity more than 1?
