It’s honestly because they’re so limited (99 copies in the world).

Technically, no logos or sig... but still considered by the hobby as an official RC. Only 99 copies exist... and one has not hit the open market (raw or graded), since October 2017.

At one point in 2013, I owned 16 of the 99. I don't want to say regret... but if I do have one card-collecting-regret... it was not keeping more than the one I own today. I want/need another really badly

I've always felt $1K was possible, but $750 would (should) be about the ceiling... the market is proving me wrong (once again)!

I get the flagship design love... but it still kind of baffles me how insane the following is on that card and how, to me at least, it makes a few of those other RCs just seem downright undervalued!

Oct 2017 , that was the one I bought, paid around 500 back then but was a pwcc auction. Still have it, was one of the first Trout’s I bought.

2011 Update BGS 10 pristine seems like good value compared to PSA 10. Multiplier is about 2.5 ($2000/$800), but population is 1/20 (200/4000).

Black label multiplier is 12.5 ($10,000 avg for last 2 sales/$800), population is 1/160 (25/4000).
