Another thing if Ebay tells you something many times it just agreeing with you to get you off the phone or to pacify you for the time being. There have been hundreds of cases where Ebay will say one thing and do just the opposite. Most cases if they do not fix the issue while on the phone they are not going to do anything.

Keep in mind many cases and claims on Ebay are done by computer not a human intervening.

True. Ebay have a dispute department that handles stuff like this. I told them the situation that the buyer needs to provide the EIN or Sales tax Id/SSN. So hopefully yes it works out good for both sides.
