Anyhow I have no allegiance to any team, but the west looks beatable now that KD and Klay are hurt/maybe gone. Houston might be the only team with a chance to beat them.
Sure I am. That’s what happens when you don’t have a professional team in or near your hometown. Player fans can’t be fans of the team their player plays on???

Of course they can. I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm not starting a team thread like I love the team only to turn around and bash another member (granted you two have some hilarious history) and tell him he can't post in the team thread. Anyway you do you.

Yeah, there is some hilarious history there. AD news was huge and none of the long time laker fans made a team thread so I went ahead and did it. Regardless of being a player fan first, im pulling for a winning season as much as the next laker fan, were all on the same team.

Let me be the first one to say that I hope that Pau Gasol comes back to the Lakers on a vets minimum deal.

I'd really like to see him finish his career in LA and I think he is an unrestricted free agent. We need some bodies to fill out this roster.

Lakers sign Troy Daniels to one year for 2.1 mil. Gives them a bench player that can shoot 40% from 3. Doesn’t effect their cap space either.

Rumors floating around iggy will sign with the lakers. He’s getting up there in age but he’s obviously a decent bench player. I hope the lakers can resign javele, rondo, and lance. All decent role players. Now if for some crazy reason kawhi signs with the lakers I hope Danny green comes along too.

More bench filler. Jared Dudley 1 year for 2.6 mil.

Y'all are very lucky to have Dudley. The dude is a perfect fit on any team. Can still ball, and the best locker room presence out there.

I hope he has some gas in the tank. I feel like he’s going to just be a warm body out there but obviously the lakers need roster feelers and at least he has experience.

Can't believe they're bringing back that bum KCP. That hurts worse than Kawhi going to the Clips with PG.

They should be chasing Oubre Jr right now imo. Sign cousins and rondo for cheap if they can. That’s what I’d be trying to do anyway.
Edit: Forgot Morris is still out there too. Hmm. Be interesting to see what they do.

He never really gave it up yet since the trade hasn't been completed

The more i think about it, the more I think Oubre jr and Morris should be priority for grit/grind and defense.

The Lakers can now also offer more $$ to Korver if and when he's bought out to make sure he goes there

Really like the fact Lakers didn't get Kawhi they have already picked up some quality players imo, Danny, Quinn, and Javale if they can get Korver that is some great shooters around Lebron and AD better team then what Clippers have I think.

A big wildcard has got to be Iguadala.

I know Memphis still wants to trade him, but we’ll have to wait and see who wants to give up assets to take on his $17 million.

Lebron, AD, healthy cousins, kuzma, green, rondo, cook, kcp, javele, Daniels, and Dudley. Looks like a great team to me.

Lakers picking up Avery Bradley. Hopefully he plays like he did when he was in Boston. Played decent after leaving the clippers.
