This sounds horrible, but I honestly hope Zion sucks for the first few months. There’s no other way I’ll be able to buy any basketball this year.

Sorta - I was wondering WHO is buying up his auto's, is there someone, anyone out there who would seriously consider buying 2,3,5,10 of his autograph rookies to hold? Exactly. Things have gotten out of hand. too many will be left holding the hot potato.
im all for the hobby and people making money but as this thread implies "who is buying zion" the answer is really no one at least at the prices he will be selling for.
you dont see tons of threads with people wanting to buy and lining up to buy zion cards now and wont.
you see tons of threads where every single person is telling anyone that hits a zion to sell now and hurry up and not a single person saying they want to buy it.
his cards will be so mass produced it will be a race to the floor in days with how many of his cards get listed.

like goldy said above i kind of hope he sucks. this way maybe the hobby can get the reality check it deserves, no reason for hoops boxes to be prealse for $200 and prizm for the prices it is.

I see a few auctions have actually entered into the outer sphere of reality. Many auctions were drastically slashed today in price. Hey but I get it...aim for the moon. I would too.

Very true - wonder how many sales are legitimate, it really sucks that ebay makes it simple to cancel or change or return items...

Just picked up a base RC auto of Zion. I’m actually trying to complete the entire base RC auto set for Contenders. Wish me luck!

Why not just wait until prizm comes out and contenders prices drop like a rock? You're going to get crushed if you ever try to resell those

I don't remember another player comparing to Mahomes with pricing in his early years - not for such an extended period of time, just when $200 seems like to much, it goes to $250, now the same card is selling $350, just bananas
