Hopefully your goodies show up today.

I've had that happen a few times and every time (so far) the package arrived within two days.

If a parcel is valuable enough that I need to insure it, I always use FedEx. USPS insurance is a joke.

This happened to my co worker and she believed there was foul play, but since people in here eventually got their packages, maybe my co worker was just being paranoid. She made a return with signature confirmation on eBay and ended up with the same alert, awaiting delivery scan when she was keeping up with tracking. The tracking showed it made an attempt, but showed the alert message. She contacted eBay and then eBay contacted the usps that was holding the package, after that eBay told her to wait it out for few days, but it never changed. eBay gave her the refund afterwards.. but then the next day the package was finally picked up and signed. I thought that was strange, but since everyone here eventually got their package you should prob get it soon, but if not you should contact eBay

I'd give ya'll a group hug right now if I could (I'm not fearful of any lawsuits).

Got the doorbell ring today, and was greeted with the package in question. I cordially asked the usps employee what may have happened over the past 2 days. She said she didn't know, but sometimes stuff gets stuck at the local sorting facility and things get mis-scanned.

Yuge sigh of relief. Barely slept a lick last night.

Hope everyone in here that's facing the same situation receives the same outcome...please keep the thread posted!

Thank you kindly.

You and the others were right on the money...within 2 days of the intended original delivery date. I'd still like to know why this happens, but happy nonetheless

Awesome! Similiar thing happened to me where it was actually delivered to the wrong house. Three weeks later I receive a doorbell ring from the next door neighbor and they had my cards. They were on vacation for those three weeks! USPS has to get their act together!

^^ Wow...dodged a bullet dude...glad to hear!!

The funniest part of all of this? The tracking still shows the same as it did Monday with the giant red alert.

If not for decent and honest human beings, I can easily see this as being an exploitable loophole for buyers to receive a refund while keeping merchandise. Shame.
