I have used a chop saw and table saw to cut out BGS cards. Wear goggles and get 120 or 160 tooth blades. This was 10 yes ago and I did not resub or sell. Just 8.5s I wanted to keep

Have your old lady hang on to it tight and fire up the chainsaw. Cuts through the plastic pretty easy as long as she holds still.

Use cutting pliers, clip the top corner off. After clipping the top corner, pry it open with a flat head screwdriver. It's best to put a towel over your hands/pliers/case when clipping so that you don't get plastic schrapnel in your face.

I crossed a BGS 9 Luka Doncic Prizm Blue/199 RC that has subgrades 9.5 x 3 and 8.5 on surface (back surface scratches).
Sent to PSA and got a PSA 10. So it’s possible. |

Good advice. I’ll also suggest spending a couple of dollars on a stubby flat head screwdriver for prying the case open. The short screwdriver will help prevent any accidental damage to the card. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This entire thread is a prime example as to why grading is meaning less. Its all a sham for the money. Remember this thread the next time you fork over big $ for that PSA 10!! Chances are it used to be a BGS 9 or worse. lol
