Very steady ascent on his Update RC.

Thursday I sold a single for $20 and a lot of 3/$60.
Friday I sold a lot of 10/$250
This morning I sold a lot of two/$80

Still have close to 200 left.

Pulled this out of a box of razor I ordered for fun. Also got Tim Anderson and Andrew cashner in the same box.

Love Stanton a ton though. Always been a big fan of his.

Offspeed stuff killing him today. In fairness Corbin kinda dominated almost everyone in the lineup, but Harris made him look pretty foolish as well.

If he can stay on the ball a bit longer and not sell out for the big fly so much, he will get back in his groove. Loved his oppo RBI single off Scherzer. He really looked locked in on that. For Stanton that’s more challenging than putting one over the wall.

I was thinking the same - past two games he's looked like a hitter instead of just a slugger.

3 for 4 and now hitting .500! Had to sell my Stanton Update for PC additions, and really hoping I don't regret that decision.

That Yankees lineup is terrifying

Could have been the next 600 homer guy, streaky AF but also injured AF regularly. Followed him since his callup in 2010. The beat goes on, but any real fan knew after those first two homers that this was gonna happen.

Good luck big Mike, hope you're back soon.

Sad to see for sure. He can't seem to get away from the soft tissue stuff. His career will likely be yet another case of what if, but will always be remembered as one of the best sluggers of all time IMO

Very unfortunate timing for the seller, but I'm not complaining. Couldn't pass this up, especially with that beautiful Sterling Gold refractor on top

https://www.ebay.com/itm/HUGE-lot-of...72.m2748.l2649

Regardless of the injury or not, this is the type of lot that needed to be broken out. But again, as a buyer, I'm not complaining.

Anyone else think the guy's too strong? All that muscle is just causing injuries. Sounds stupid, I know. But that's just my theory.

I’m with you, he seems kinda like D Rose, too explosive for his own good. Generates all kinds of torque, but doesn’t seem like his body is able to handle it long term. I feel for the guy because he can truly murder a baseball just can’t seem to stay healthy.

I think I had heard at the beginning of the season that he looked not as bulked up but who knows.

He definitely looks slimmer, but is still jacked. I mean last year (when he wasn't hurt) I thought Tony Stark might be calling to recruit him.

The guy is an absolute beast and look at the way he stands at the plate, almost like he has to come unglued for every swing, I can see why he would have persistent knee issues, but man can he hit the ball when healthy... Hope he comes back to smash more dingers this year !!

Reminds me of Tiger Woods. When Woods was younger and lean fit, he was incredible, other worldly. When he bulked up, he started having major issues and hasn’t been the same. Some guys frames can’t support the type of muscle growth he put on. Maybe Stanton is the same. I know he’s tall, but bone structure comes into play as well. McGwire broke down after bulking up too, feet were too small.
(Insert joke here). Just saying maybe Stanton could drop about 20 lbs of bulk and regain some athleticism and stay on the field.

That's a super interesting point. Mass definitely takes its toll - especially on muscle flexibility

Yeah. I know Tiger has suffered from it and so did Mickelson. Not everyone should be built like an Action Figure.
