Glad to see F finally pick up some steam. One of my bigger holdings for this year.

A lot of tech got hit today. Much of that sector is overbought.

Flipped some ADBE calls for 10% intra-day. Not much else, added some KO and VZ in my Roth though.

A majority in cash otherwise...for now.

At the end of last year I parked some cash in my ROTH in Realty Income Corp (ticker O) and it looks like I bought a few weeks too early as it announced a 10 million share offering at a little over $57 a share which is causing the stock to drop after hours.

FDX do for a nice oversold bounce IMO. Not a bad entry point here if you like it.

Small offering. Should take 4-5 days to cycle through via volume. Add another day at the end for the market to adjust to the new shares. The good news is your dividend yield will increase on a percentage basis.

In the last thread when we were discussing SPACs I mentioned I was in Klein's CCIV.

I sold on news linking them to Direct TV but looks like that fell through and now they're being linked to EV, Lucid Motors. Big miss.

For anyone in the sports betting space, Oregon trying to do the opposite of how New York wants to run things. Get rid of the lottery style to allow other operators to operate in the state.

https://www.newsbreak.com/news/21430...-betting-model

Texas also in talks to push legislation through and has reached out to New Jersey for opinions.

Keep it coming

I picked up more ICHR right around market open when it was down .3%

There was no reason it should have been down on open when it received an increase in price target.

Ended up buying 10 more shares of O to get my dollar cost average across 100 shares down to $60.98.

Kura Sushi (KRUS), a stock I plan on holding for the next decade, finally popped today ... up 15% at one point.

That volume on O is insane. It's going to cycle through the 10M shares today. Maybe by 2 pm. That's crazy.

Nothing for me today.

I mentioned in the last thread I sold everything so sitting quite a bit of cash, should have been more patient buying AAPL and MSFT back.

Added FB and NFLX today. News aside, based on price I felt FB was a great buy with 1/27 earnings. Same deal with NFLX sub-500 with earnings 1/19. Not looking to hold through the news though.

Had been so tempted to buy ZM last few days, but didn't pull the trigger and missed on the big run today even with offering news. Oh well.

Still over half in cash, doubt we get much of a swing either way with monthly options expiring this Friday.

in the old thread i mentioned SoFi as a good target. it was funny seeing chamath pick them up.

i have these SPAC warrants: BTAQW, THCAW, CRSAW, NOVSW

btaq might be some type of israeli EV company. THCA might be transfix - logistics for shipping, CRSAW - unknown,

picked up quarterhill - QTHRF. low risk, has plenty of cash, half a patent troll/licensing business and half highway tech business (weighing stations etc). should have a dollar per share cash and another dollar coming in from apple settlement.

I've owned NIO for bit now and done quite a bit of research and I figure it to hit between $100-150 by EOY. They announced the other day that they partnered up with Nvidia to make their AI chips and will be expanding into Europe. In addition, they just released their first sedan with AI and 5G (they've been selling SUV's up to this point) and are already taking pre-orders for 2022 delivery.

I'm confident the stock should steadily climb for at least the next 3-5 years with sales growing year by year. Will it hit Tesla levels of share price (2500 pre-split)? Probably not, but if it hits anywhere in that $300-500 range I'll be more than content.

PLUG, wow. Last 5 days of trading and near %100 gains already. Didn't think the deal with Renault for hydrogen powered cars was going to be this significant.

Might have to take some profits soon. Anyone else in PLUG?

Anybody have the guts to short TSLA? Their market cap is impossible to justify.

I don't think that's the problem. At this point, you're just shorting a cult. I won't be a buyer but I'd be even more scared to short it.

Now isn't the time to short it. You would want to short as the market rotates towards value. There is zero intrinsic value in that stock. Zero. All of the value is extrinsic in nature.

INTC rises 11% at open. Looks like a bit of a management shakeup. I’ve held that stock since 2008 and it’s had a rough year. Nice to see some optimism... hopefully it keeps rolling.

SHAK continues to surge. It looks like the street feels like it will benefit from expansion in a Post-Covid landscape. They have the resources to move into a lot of prime locations that become vacant as other businesses go under during CoVID.

Another interesting stock to look at in the same space is Kura Sushi (KRUS). Currently it has about 2 dozen locations in the US and it is looking to expand to up to 300 locations in the next two decades.
